Oh how I wish I could join you to forage on the beach. Funny, we have lots of native freshwater muscles in Minnesota, but all are listed as protected. I am able to hunt though. My favorite is for ruffed grouse. There is something wonderful about harvesting fresh food, and eating right away. Christmas was hard. I let my hunting dog out Christmas morning and she never came back. Lots of wolves here, I think them may have got her. So enjoy your posts, they always bring a smile to my face.

You're missing some red potatoes and Cajun seasoning in that pot.

I love where I live, but I wouldn't mind being somewhere where I could find my own dinner. I mean I can go fishing on mountain rivers and lakes, but not ocean food. Be grateful for everything you have been blessed with everyone!

Funny story, I was walking the shore on Tybee island in Georgia, picking up shells when I picked up one and discovered it had legs hanging out, turned out I had been picking up hermit crabs! So I put them all back!

I see you are using a tube of garlic, that's the ones I was telling you to throw in the freezer, they don't go hard so they keep for a long time, just squeeze the frozen garlic or chilli/herbs into your pan it thraws out in seconds and put the garlic back in the freezer for next time, I love your foraging videos and the Santa hats too.
