Not a bad late night munch. Sweet ormers and lady crab 🦀. It’s interesting how the congers can swim backwards. Cool to see that lobster pop out of the hole. Appreciate you and Sam braving the elements again cheers. Catch you on the next one 👍🇨🇦

Lovely and delicious!! (Smash mukbang😁) I’ve seen ormers been cut gently on the surface crisscross - that should not only make them more tender but should also pick up more of whatever you flavor/season them with. Take care. Stay safe! 👍🏻 Hell yeah.

Hi Jay, after you sliced these you should have put all the meat back into the hot honey including the crab meat. Next time breadcrumb them first and the crab meat, take the meat out of the frypan then cook the two meats in the honey.

If you rubb plenty of salt into the Alma, and rub for 20 seconds, then rinse. This process is how we prepare Alma for sushi, and makes meat whiter, and removes all the slime.

@@SMASHFISHING Your very welcome. Thank you so much for replying. to prep it for Sashimi, first the skirt is separated form the main body, and both are used separately. The trim, is washed and scrubbed with salt, and the s sliced very thin, for sashimi, and served with soy, Ponzu n Yuzu , sesame n wasabi , or , on top of a sushi rice, or in a Dragon roll. You can do the same with the body too, But its nice to do in breadcrumbs, and have plain sushi rice, with my own, 'Very bad man sauce!" Cant wait to fillet a Conga n teriyaki it ,on the beach someday, once this tomfoolery is over. and i can get back to some honest forreging.
@bradfordpal
@bradfordpal 3 жыл бұрын
A good Sushi chef dies all this very fast , so don’t spend too long rubbing with salt . 30 seconds . Clean all the black bits , and slice . The Alma should still feel alive , if your good
