I can’t hear anything in the video because I’m in class rn, but this was the first big roller coaster I did and even as a half gp I could definitely notice the powerful airtime and laterals in the front. Truly an amazing and underrated ride.

And at the start of the ride in the loading station, they blow that train whistle that starts the ride and you go down into a crazy fast dark tunnel. Then way off in the distance you can see the end of the tunnel and the lift hill with the clanking chain that takes you to the first big drop. What a great coaster!!!!!!! 👍

Thsi was the 2nd big coaster I ever went on, and it made me get over my fear, and now it’s my fav coaster I’ve ever ridden. Every time I go to Santa Cruz I make sure I ride it

Yes everytime I visit that place I ll ride the Giant Dipper not once but multiple times😊😊😊😊😊 I ll also go on other select rides too that are operating when I go there

Omg I love giant diper and was my first “big” roller coaster after I finally built up my courage and this kickstarted my obsession! Super fun and jerky and the airtime is great! This coaster is the best at night when they turn on allllll of the lights all over the park!

I thought this was the giant dipper at Belmont park for a second at the start. That one has good airtime as well, they didn’t staple me too bad on my first ride, and in the back row, I got so much airtime, that for a second I was standing up.

I love this roller coaster. I remember as a kid, I really wanted to ride it and the Hurricane, but I was an inch too short. I was really excited when I was finally tall enough to ride these rides and really enjoyed it

For sheer fun, I'd pick this coaster over any bigger ride. Besides, you can easily ride it a dozen times in a day!

For a second I thought you were talking about the one at Belmont park. Which is the one I have ridden and from what I here far worse then the Santa Cruze ride.

Belmont Park is a fabulous-looking coaster, but the ride doesn't compare to Santa Cruz.

I rode this ride in the front thinking nothing of it and I came out of it shocked because surprisingly in the front you go flying out of your seat

This is my first big roller coaster ever!!!! This roller coaster absolutely traumatized me when I first went on it back in the summer before I was in third grade. I worked up my courage and rode it the following year and I overcame my fear of roller coasters and I’ve been hooked on it ever since! It’s a great ride! Check out the Iron Dipper on KZfaq, the RMC of this roller coaster. Ha ha! :)

I've ridden this before, but I think the most scary part of the ride is the beginning where you are inside a pitch black tunnel and you can't see anything but then you see the light and you start your tall climb... It's also very rickety 💀

I rode this coaster along time ago when it just had bench seats and no bucket seats and had an old pair of jeans on and it ripped out the entire front of them

@@mister_vulgar you probably got a wheel seat...its a lot smoother up front
