I will remember that evening for the rest of my life. Everything was just incredible. The ride lineup, all the people we met and the atmosphere at night. Definitely the best fair I‘ve done so far

I love rollercoasters but the fair still has a special place in my heart. The length of the rides mixed with the intensity is just amazing always.

Mixed with the music, effects and just overall ambiance let me often prefer the fair over theme parks.

German funfairs are out of this world! Epic rides, great decorations and a very friendly atmosphere. Loving it. As a ride enthousiast you should go there at least once if you have the chance! And their wurst is the best 😬

We used to have Huss Booster (Ghost Rider) here in Helsinki at Linnanmäki named Kieppi but it got removed in 2017. So good ride, I’m missing it so much!

I remember doing the same drop tower in Hannover the week before you guys went here, and because lines were short, he first dropped us from 40 meters before we went to the full 85 meters and then he kept teasing us and playing The Final Countdown to trick us into thinking we were going to drop and the entire ride ended up lasting 8.5 minutes, which was terrifying! It's the tallest travelling drop tower, so I guess he wanted to put on a good show 😂

@@CoasterDash rode it I believe two weeks ago at the "cranger fair" and the riders did 2 fake countdowns and then dropped us at 7 while counting down from 10

I rode infinity a couple of years ago on Weert Kermis. It's even crazier when it's surrounded by 5 story high buildings

County fairs are my soft spot. I love my small local county fair down here in AZ but I can’t imagine the kind of night you can have at a European fair. I love my flat rides and this place looks absolutely nuts.

Nice video, guys! By the way, once a year over in Tilburg, Netherlands we have the biggest fair in Europe all spread out through beautiful Tilburg..It even has its own LHBTI+ day..if you liked Dusseldorff then you have to experience Tilburg when the fair comes ( I believe you just missed it for this year)

You should look up "Airborne". Rode it this year in my town of Groningen, the Netherlands. Basically design of Infinity but then like a booster. Very intense!

9:00 i rode this thing wednesday when it was raining, and when io was on it in the evening the sun broke through, coloring the whole rain golden while i was hanging upside down 60m up in the air, it was such a surreal experience

european funfairs are the coolest! we have the Hangover tower come to London every christmas and it’s the most intense drop tower and also puts on an awesome show and looks really nice

Ghost Rider was the first thrill flat ride that I’ve ever done and I knew it was safe but I was just above the minimum for riding it. I only rode it once but it gave me a trauma. I legitimately thought I was gonna die.

The Dutch and German fairs are the safest in Europe. The TUV is the strictest control organisation in Europe. Try going to France for a fair.

I hope you visited the Cologne Cathedral the world's largest high "French Gothic" cathedral in the world, (even larger than Amiens, which is the largest cathedral in France). You probably went to Phantasialand too.

Many of the crazy funfair flat rides are build by KMG which is a Dutch company, also Huss was a big player in the funfair industry

Oktoberfest is bigger but both should be on the bucket list for every ride enthusiast who's planning to stop in Germany. 6:53 it's Höllenblitz (hell lightning bolt) and has nothing to do with the dutch 😉

Ye but this fair is better imo like yea oktoberfest had olympia looping and alpina bahn and hollen blitz but this has EVERY type of ride in the world (CHECK 2019 version its litterly the best fair in the world) imagine having olympia looping , alpina bahn , infinity , wild maus xxl , propeller , hangover , jules verne tower , spinning racer in the same park

2nd best fair in the world is the San Diego County Fair. Number 1.5 is Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and the one in the video deserves its top spot.

That traveling spinning indoor coaster puts Guardians at Disney Paris to shame. I mean seriously NOBODY travels with a setup like this in North America. But EU fair culture is a lot different. Each ride is owned by individuals, and largely run as a family unit. They take a lot of pride in their rides and their presentation.

Olympia looping is overrated and also it normally always travels to this fair, the only reason it didn't travel to Düsseldorf this year was because it is currently located in the Wiener prater.
