This is a manually constructed virtual sound environment using 3D spatial audio techniques.
When sound has been recorded as standard stereo audio, it loses all the information your brain uses to tell you where the sound is coming from. Spatial audio simulation allows us to regain a lot of this information. In this ambience, I have attempted to process, mix and position audio all around you using spatial audio technology to create a more immersive rain experience.

HRTF is a technology used to emulate spatial audio by attempting to mimic the acoustics of human hearing. It has been most widely adopted to allow games to portray accurate positional audio. It is now being used to enrich movie and music experiences via standards like Dolby Atmos.

I usually listen to the Farmhouse Rain 10 hour most nights but I think I may have found a new favourite ! Is it possible to do a 10 hour version though as I love not having to restart the vid

Glad you enjoy! I don't think KZfaq likes me reposting a longer version of the same audio so I stopped doing that, but what you can do is right click the video and click loop, it will keep replaying the video until you stop it. I also sell lossless quality seamless loops as linked in the description.
