HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Wish I was only 44. Perfect age. I love seeing your videos. There is something about your energy that makes it even more fun to watch them. Have you ever tried copper patina? I have a bunch here from doing my stained glass projects. Hope you had a great birthday! 👍🥰🐢

I have no tried copper patina, but I think I'll pick some up and give it a go! Who knows what it'll turn out like? Thanks for the birthday wishes :) I ended up with a migraine :(

Happy belated Steph! If only to be 44 again, lol! Thank you for this experiment, very interesting indeed. It looks like the Cobalt Ox., is more active when heated and of course a little more unpredictable. I wonder what would happened if the next time you were putting in a full fuse load, if you did the Cobalt again but this time, instead of laying it on a shelf or kiln floor, put it on top of a 1/4" thick fiber paper to see if the increased airflow from "none" to "some", maybe it wouldn't make that big crater. Just a thought! Thank you for sharing and seriously, hope your birthday was awesome! 🙃😉

Oooh, fiber paper is a great idea! I'm going to be doiung a bubbles 101 sort of video, where I apply oxides and carbonates to glass with different mediums (and dry) and see how they work when they dry first, before firing, or go in wet, and I wonder if I should fiber paper that too. That sounds like a perfect science experiment! Thanks for the idea!
