I have so many super duos to use up.. so I thank you for having such a gorgeous project that I can use them for. I love that ring you are wearing at the beginning of this video. The colors are perfect together. Did you demonstrate that little creation and I missed it? I am really into this cobblestone necklace. It has a little Egyptian vibe to it. I have no doubt that Cleo (As in Cleopatra) was seen sporting something similar to the Turquoise Green necklace on one of her dates to the local Malt Shop with Tony (As in Anthony). I know she loved to wear gold with a few hundred gems here and there. I am very excited about getting started on this one, but the shop is all out of the 6.4 drops. I will have to be patient and bide my time with one of your other designs. Thank you for sharing this creation with us. I am grateful that you are well and safe. I did have to use 15/0 beads instead of 11/0 for the top in order for it to have a curve. it came out nice. it is a good pattern.

Your color choices are always impressive. How do you decide whether you use silver or gold/bronze seed beads? Do certain colors lend themselves more to one color than another? Thanks Stephanie!

Thank you Beth💕 I don’t have a particular system when picking colors. I use the color wheel to check colors or as inspiration for new combinations of colors. Silver looks great with cool colors and gold with warm. However, I’m apt to use any color with any base if I like it 😆 Play with the color wheel if you need inspiration. Hope this helps!

+florence weber Thank you so much florence 🙏 The drops have to fit in between the SuperDuos. I think the 6x4mm is probably the biggest that will fit the pattern as it is. You could play with the end row to see how the 7x5 will fit🌸

Anne gredler Thank you 🌸 Depends on the tube. A 2.5 inch tube contains about 130-140 SuoerDuos. I’m not sure how many are in the large 22 gram tubes.

Yes. However, you will have to add something on the edge to make it curve. I’m thinking about a V shape necklace without the drops but I haven’t come up with a design yet.

Hi Ramona😀 It’s probably because it’s a lighter necklace and when you move it moves. Could be it’s not long enough or tight around your neck. Also, the drops may flip if they are sitting on your collar bones. So I’m not sure but you looked pretty fantastic in your photo op at the mall 😂🤣😁

I didn't think it was important to check both holes on SuperDuo. I got 3/4 done with the cobblestone bracelet. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Is there a video?

k geers If you have a beading awl, you can try to punch through carefully. Best way is to put your needle to check one hole, then take out and pick up by going through second hole. Stick one, sew one...when it comes to checking those holes.

Thank you 🙏 You can try any narrow bead that will fit without bunching. Maybe alternate 8/0and 11/0 and see how that works.

Hi! I started to make this and ended up with 24 inches before I realized you made it 17.5.... I don't mind the length but I am concerned that it will not lay flat once I add the drop beads...should I scrap it and start over? Have you ever tried making this longer?

Try it around your neck and see if it lays flat. It should be a collar length (just where your neck meets your collar bones) because the curve is already established by the beads (not the other way around).

Why do you say "check your holes" for the super duos? Is there a "top and bottom" to the beads? Or just in case the holes are not punched out properly? (Ive never used super duos before)

Jessica Ferrari Sometimes the coating may block one of the holes. Check before sewing into a piece. The bead is the same on both sides.

Haha yep! I found this out the hard way also! Luckily with a lot of the opaque or matte colors you can clearly see through the holes, but the transparent Superduo finishes tend to have more that both holes aren’t punched.

Maria Cucuiet I made the length of the necklace first and then added all the drops. Just continue the beading until you get the length you need. Also, try 15/0’s at the top instead of 11/0. Some beaders suggested it curves better 💗

It’s probably just a matter of tension. Keep it loose and flowing. Don’t pull tight and straighten it out as you go. It’s a little more difficult than it looks but worth trying again. You can message a picture to my Bronzepony Facebook page and maybe I can help 😊

It should be a collar style so about 17 inches for my neck but that could be different for yours. Drape it around your neck and see how it lays🌻

Are you using the beads I used in the demonstration? You could try using 15/0’s on the top edge instead of 11/0.
