That tank destroyer was not name "Eledant" the name is Tiger Ferdinand. But its cool cobi

The Ferdinand was the first production tank destroyer with Porsche chassis. The Ferdinand did not have a machine gun in the hull. After Kursk the Germans decided to add improvements to the design and put in a machine gun along with other things. The upgraded one was called the Elefant.

The Ferdinand was a failure tank because it had many bad features about it,also cobi makes interesting lego sets,and great video Brickmeet

the first elephants were used on operation citadelle (or the battle of kursk)

Well yes ans no. The vehicles used in Operation Citadelle/Kursk where the Ferdinands, which are basically the same thing as the Elefant but with like three or four things added. As far as I remember there were like 90 Ferdinands produced, with the other 9 hulls of the failed Vk.4501 (p) Tiger being used as recovery vehicles and 1 being used as a command tank. So after Kursk, even less Ferdinands remained, which were sent to be upgraded back to Germany. That's where the Elefant comes in, it has a machine gun in the hull and if I'm not mistaken a cupola taken from either a Panzer III or a Stug III Sadly they were sent to Italy, where they were even more useless than in Kursk

Ferdinand are in my favourite td because he are make with Tiger Porsche and i love it. His gun are very good but jagdtiger are the best tank destroyer of the ww2 because he have a really good pénétration and armor but he’s slow

In Road to Valor the Ferdinand Elefant is awful it moves slowly and it's DISTRACTED by enemy infantry and is usually killed before it even reached enemy turret. Ostheer nerf is getting worse. Ostheer players, join the rally! Quit playing the game for 2 weeks! Let the devs realise our protests!
