Being in cement that long would literally start to dry your skin out and it would start to peel. Worked in an underground utility production plant and made the mistake of dipping my hand in cement to grab a rebar. I had to lotion my hand every hour because of how dry it got.

It's not Danny's place to make parenting decisions about Robby, he should have told Johnny. At best he should have spoken with CPS regarding Robby living alone but he doesn't have the right to step in and make major life decisions for someone else's kid behind his parent's backs.

If a kid ran away from home and approached his teacher and asked to live with them, would it be okay for the teacher to just let the kid live with them because he had problems at home? They're obligated to call CPS otherwise it's kidnapping.

Honestly something that isn't seen is that Daniel likely lied about how his Conversation with Johnny went to Amanda. Amanda wouldn't have just accepted having Robby live with them without Parental permission of some kind. She would have been pissed if Daniel arrived back at the house and said "Yeah I was going to talk to Johnny but he had KREASE with him so I just left without talking to Johnny about his son's home life." Amanda would have put her foot down and told Daniel to go back to talk to Johnny.

I will add by the way *spoilers for S3* that Robbies mom ends up in Rehab set up and paid for by the Larussos so that happens sometimes between this episode and S3 which means Daniel and Amanda likely got into contact with Robbies mom sometime after this we just don't know when it's completely possible a few weeks after this they talked to her convinced her to go to Rehab and to let Robbie live with them.

@@laquanthedon1 She DID give a damn the only Reason Daniel found out about Kreese when he did was because Amanda insisted on informing Johnny about what is going on with his Son. At this point in the show she wouldn't give a damn who Kreese was and would have been pissed off with the way Daniel handled that whole encounter assuming Daniel told her the whole truth.

Daniel is 100% in the wrong here. Johnny is his father and responsible for his son. To Johnny's knowledge, Robby is living with his mom and neither want anything to do with him despite his offers for Robby to come live with him. Daniel is jumping to conclusions when he is seeing Kreese (someone he hadn't seen in over 30 years!). He needs to tell Johnny that Robby is safe and staying with him. What's Johnny to think when he can't get a hold of anyone? Not even Robby's mom knows where he is at! (Although to be fair Daniel likely did leave her messages).

@mkayyy1918 He literally went over to talk to him after he found out Robby was dropping out. He offered to have him live with him. Robby likely does if he doesn't get jealous seeing him and Miguel together. Johnny was told by both Robby and his mother that they didn't want anything to do with him. What's he supposed to do? Go stalk and harass them every day? His mother was described as a decent mom until he got older, and she didn't know how to handle him. No doubt, Johnny was wrong to not be in his son's life earlier, but that doesn't give Daniel the right to decide who his legal guardian is and withhold important information from him.

@@ajl9772 My point is that Johnny always has to be told to check on Robby. He never checks on him on his accord. He only checked on Robby in season 1 cuz the principal called him, he only checked on Robby in season 2 cuz Kreese encouraged him, he only checked on him in season 3 cuz Daniel approached him. That's why Robby was so hostile towards him in season 1. Because Johnny wasn't there. Johnny's problem is he gives up too easily. In the face of Robby's reasonable hostility Johnny chickens out and runs to the Diaz's to feel good about himself. If Johnny was really trying to step up he would've taken Robby and Shannon's initial hostility in order to be there for his fucking son and checked up on him.

I'm ngl, I watched the first few seasons of this show before knowing what happened in Karate Kid 3. Daniel's overreactions make a LOT more sense with that context. Kreese and Silver and Barnes were on some damn near super villain shit in that one, and that was the movie where he tried "Cobra Kai" style and it backfired heavily. Before I saw that, I was confused why it was so intense for him from the first couple movies alone 😅

Some diehard fans shun the Jackie Chan/Jaden Smith movie because its a remake, not canon but takes lines from the OG movie, using kung fu as the martial art instead of karate. My husband and I both grew up on the OG movie and agree that the fighting in the remake is WAY better, even if it's not canon.

Danny was wrong. Johnny is his dad. Robbie lived with his mom and most likely was told not to come around the house. The mom abandoning her son without telling any adult and Robbie not telling anyone made it seem everything was fine until sam saw how he was acting. Last time Robbie quit school he came to check up on him and see why. Danny is basically kidnapping Robbie while his dad is unaware of the situation.

If Danny doesn’t think Johnny is a fit guardian, he can go to the courts. File a CPS report. But he’s not a judge, let alone any blood relation of Robby’s at all. Not to mention we all know Johnny now isn’t some negligent boozehound. It’s not Daniel’s place to decide where Robby lives. This is straight up illegal and irredeemable. The worst part of this show is how horribly Daniel desecrates the memory of Mr miyagi and his teachings. I get they need the conflict for the plot but the man’s a full ass grown adult and still acts like a hormonal teenager

Up until now, the show creators have made it clear that they are only pulling from the Miyagi-verse. So anyone that existed in a movie with Mr Miyagi could show up. That means Next Karate Kid with Hillary Swank is a probability to enter the Cobra Kai world. And it was supposed to mean that the Jaden Smith/Jackie Chan stuff was out of consideration. But now there's a Karate Kid movie with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan in the works so I don't know what's happening. All I know is Next Karate Kid wasn't good to begin with, and has aged worse. And the Kung-Fu Kid was fine, but unnecessary to ever see twice. I don't know that you're going to be missing anything if you skip them even if they do get brought in. Whatever they do in Cobra Kai will tell you all you need to know.

Ehhh.... The next Karate kid film with the female lead is iffy.. she IS mentioned, but it doesn't feel like they're setting it up for her to be in the story... and the Karate kid with Will Smiths kid is just... no... just.. no

Hey Guys, luv ur channel..great reactions.luv Cobra Kai too..not to happy about new movie.. Jackie Chan is a legend but Jackie is Chinese and is proficient in Kung Fu so the Karate Kid name made no sense plus Jaden Smith was as a kid and still is one of the worst actors who has ever lived...Plus the movie was about like 10 yr olds..Its truly awful..sorry Pat but its true. reason why it got no sequel...

No one ever have a child with the girl on the right. She will literally withhold your child from you for not knowing some guy you used to know was still alive. I used to like her, but this show is revealing her to be the worst kind of person.
