Haven't enjoyed a show so much since Breaking Bad, I knew after watching this show there had to be a season 2. Really excited. Cobra Kai never dies!

I think everyone sided with Daniel in the movies. The show hasn't exactly made me side with Johnny, but it does give a little more perspective on where he was coming from. What he did in the movies was ultimately still wrong though.

You guys better make a season 3 4 and 5 after this! Way too addicting and way too good of a show. Haven't seen a show this good in YEARS! ALSO, it would be nice to incorporate the girl from "The Next Karate Kid" who Mr. Miyagi teaches. Not in Season two because obviously it would be way to early and fast for that, but maybe in later seasons to spice things up a bit. Maybe she helps out Larusso in some way with the Miyagi Dojo or who knows. So many twist and turns. I love this!

I was obsessed with the Karate Kid movies as a kid (at 11 years old, I had pics of Ralph from Teen Beat, all over my locker.) It’s awesome to see the story from the flip side. Johnny’s perspective is so different - seeing it now through the back story of his childhood. I hope in Season 2, we’ll get to see a fight between Ralph and William. With Martin Kove (John,) back in the picture, things will likely go downhill for Johnny. Would be a super interesting plot twist to see the two guys team up against Kreese. Looking forward to Season 2!!

I bet season 2 has more of Kreese's background. It seems that this series is strictly off the first movie and only very selectively pulling from the others - only as is absolutely necessary or strictly as it *adds* to the series. I think they may totally omit anything that ever came out about kreese in the other movies and pretend it never happened.

Just a thought for anyone who’s thinking of canceling KZfaq Red before their free trial is over. I thought of doing that too. I might not even want KZfaq Red in the long run. But this show is so good, I’m going to at least pay for one month’s worth. A lot of passion went into the making of this show. Consider that before canceling right away. Peace out.

Michael Alperstein I appreciate your appreciation, and I'll probably do the same, but, at the same time, please remember that there's no need to worry about KZfaq (Google). They have PLENTY of money. And they knew full well that people would be using the free trial for this exact reason. They wouldn't have allowed it if they couldn't handle it. Besides, just imagine the revenue that will be flowing in once Season 2 begins, with everyone's free trials already used up. Sure, there will be some cheapskates who will go out of their way to work around the system, but most of us will at least sign up for a month when the time comes.

Most Hated KZfaq operates at a massive loss. They don't have "plenty" of money. In theory they may be a billion-dollar company, but KZfaq is only owned by Google; they don't share revenue or expenses.

This has to be one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. It’s not just a sequel, but has a truly well-written plot. What a concept...a series that has a story without zombies or cgi...That relies only on actors and writers with talent and a story with substance....I didn’t think that existed anymore. Johnny’s real, no appologies attitude is like a breath of fresh air (and reality) in a world of milquetoast pc tv shows/movies. Thank you KZfaq!

Magicman205 I didn't binge. I knew it was good after Episode 2, so I limited myself to 1-2 episodes each day. I'd get home from work, pour myself a drink, and leisurely watch another episode. Pacing yourself makes a good show even better.

You have to wait a long time to display in 2019 but will not display directly. First in the Netflex site then displayed in the free sites after a month or something like that

I was about to upvote you until you said "great acting". It was OK acting but certainly not worthy of any awards (for the acting, that is). And the fight scenes were the absolute worst I've ever seen, even in soap operas. I think the Golden Girls actually had a fight scene once that was much better than the ones in Cobra kai. But dangit, it was a great show and I want more!!!!!!!!!

As a fan of the Karate Kid movies, I binged watched all 10 episodes as soon as I found out it was on KZfaq and loved the smart writing, the humor and, of course, the homage and respect it gives to the films. You can clearly see the effect Miyagi and Cobra Kai teachings have on the separate group of students and how disturbed Johnny was in the end at the realization Miguel's mindset had changed for the worst because of him. This season was definitely written by fans for the fans but carefully crafted to intergrate current issues. Finally, something worth watching that doesn't come off as overly-dramatic or fantasized. Never had a reason to sign up for KZfaq Red before now. I'm just sad I have to wait almost a whole year to see season 2. Not sure I'll keep the subscription for a whole year though. What else you got, KZfaq Red??

This was so awesome. I loved how it fleshed out Johnny’s character more and how everything came full circle. I liked how in the beginning of the series, Daniel’s home dojo was used as a storage room, to signify that he’d forgotten who he was, how Johnny was stuck in the past, watching 80’s action movies and driving the firebird, blasting 80’s music. I like how Daniel and Johnny related to All the new characters, and how they both had their definitive teaching style. And the way each one was presented, neither one was 100% right, but neither one was wrong either. Such a great show, and I cannot wait for the new season. Bravo, you guys!

Ameen Business I wasn't full time on the show but did do a lot of 2nd unit days. I was going back between Cobra Kai and Avengers: Infinity War in November 2017-January 2018.

2019 can't come soon enough! Please, please, please release the first season on DVD! I loved it so much and really want to own a physical copy. Maybe even with some extras -- bloopers, deleted scenes, interviews, commentaries, whatever -- but I'd be happy with just the episodes themselves too. Please?

Patrick Lange I used my trial for this series. I tried watching other shows after I finished Cobra Kai. Unfortunately I don't like any other shows they have. So I may just cancel till the next season, next year. Unless my son finds something on YR he likes. He hasn't checked it out yet.
