This was an excellent interview with the cast and writers of the Cobra Kai series. I was six years old when the first movie came out back in 1984, and have been a huge massive fan ever since. As much as I love the movies, I actually love the series more. I knew that it was going to be good before it came out, but it turned out way better than I expected. The writers, the old original cast, and the new cast have all done a PHENOMENAL job on all four seasons. I can not wait for season 5 to come out. The ending of season 4 in my opinion is the best ending yet. An ending that makes you want more is when you know that everyone did their job extremely well. Thanks again for this awesome interview.

It’s amazing that Ralph is a year older than Thomas. Martin is 16 years older than Thomas. But look the same. Billy doesn’t look 3 years younger than Thomas.

Ralph Macchio was one of my first on screen crushes and my idol when I was just an elementary school child with the release of the first Karate Kids series.. never imagined I can relive this whole experience 30 yrs later as a full grown adult. The series is still as exciting to watch as it was back then. The script is well written, tying in the past for us original fans and stay true to the realities of the modern day facing this generation of young people with social media etc.. I hope it keeps going forever until Ralph turns 80 or beyond and become the new master Yoda! Hopefully we won't have to wait another year for season 5, bring it on tomorrow! Suffering a painful addiction :D

I LOVE how the show reflects how the youth is influenced by a father/mother figure or even (as we saw in season 4 with kenny and robby) a big brother figure, no matter who it is and how long you have really gotten to know the person as they should. I think the show would be missing a huge opportunity if they didnt mirror the role robby has in kennys life with sam and anthony.

I think this group of actors are the only ones I care about because they play human beings. Everyone is flawed but it's in a human way not an acting way. People like Tom Holland who can switch their entire voice, it's like yeah you can act but I feel like In interviews he's acting like the golden boy too. He could have memorized a script for his "genuine" interviews. Marvel has been so subpar since I started seeing how real acting is done. These people are acting with passion and it shows!

These are exactly the types of writers we need (die hard fans) writing for the new Lord of the Rings series and all other upcoming reboots and spin offs.

Kreese is in jail and one of the charges is attempted murder. In the state of California that carries 25 to life. He will not have the money to pay for a private lawyer so he’s going to have to get the public defender. With the injuries that stingray suffered it’s going to be extremely difficult for him to win a trial. I almost feel like the only person who would be able to save Kreese would be Daniel economically Or stingray. Stingray will have to tell the truth and implicate Silver. Miguel could be in serious danger because his father doesn’t even know that he exists he might just see Miguel as some kind of threat. From the still images we know that Robbie and Johnny do end up going down to Mexico to look for Miguel together. Chosen is a bit of a monkey wrench. They might use chosen as a front mound so that he could open a dojo that would rival cobra Kai without letting Terry Silver know that Daniel is behind it. Tori knows that Silver paid the referee to favor her and her match with Samantha. I could see a situation where Tori ends up giving the trophy to Samantha and that could end their rivalry. Also Tori could implicate Silver and the referee especially since Silver stated specifically that the referee would have the money put in his account which means it would be traceable. I think Shawn from juvenile hall is going to be really upset with Robby. So when he gets out he will probably join cobra Kai. The older kids are 17 now so by the time the next tournament comes around they will be too old. The only kids that will be able to fight in the tournament will be the kids that are currently now in junior high. More likely Anthony LaRusso is going to start taking karate seriously and he will be preparing for the next tournament. Eli and Dimitri I don’t see much of a change for them except for Eli getting back with his girlfriend moon. Perhaps Silver in the long run is not intending to betray Kreese. He may feel that he just needed to get Kreese out of the way, So that he could focus on beating Daniel and making his life miserable. He probably feels that by defeating Daniel permanently would be his only way to re-pay his debt to Kreese. Tori definitely is not going to trust Silver because she knows that Silver used his wealth and influence to get her the win. I think that Johnny will ultimately have Miguel and Robbie make up. I think there will be more of “stopping the cycle” in the next season. Eventually Johnny and Daniel‘s rivalry will be gone so will Miguel and Robby’s so will Tori and Samantha‘s. And shockingly there is a possibility that even Kreese Even he could have a permanent redemption where it is everybody against Silver.
