First things first.. I am so happy you guys are back with Cobra Kai. 💜💜🥋🥊🏆🏆 I love the reactions you both do. So in regards to what is happening all around, I think Steve brought up a good point. Daniel needed to communicate with his wife all about Terry Silver and how he was effected then and how he is not okay now. I feel that if Amanda knew the situation she would of understood how dangerous Terry really is. I get that she is tired of the drama and just wants a normal family life. But at the same time they won't have much a life if they don't address these issues together. I love Johnny and Chozen. They really have Daniel's back. I feel like Daniel, Johnny and Chozen should all stand together as a united front then maybe they would be unstoppable. But they keep splitting up. Can we please talk about the cool relationship between Johnny and Amanda? It's so cute. Nikki brought up another excellent point too. If my husband kept something that important from me I would be pissed too. Marriage is about knowing eachother and being open. No secrets, especially when they have had such an impact and are still effecting you now. I get so emotional everytime Mr. Miyagi is brought up man. 😭😭😭 Tory is really going through so much. I hope she gets the courage and does the right thing, I believe in her. Kenny is really being so bad!!!! I am not liking it.. I want Robby and Tory to stay together. Btw thank you Nikki for saying that Olive Garden is not Italian food! Girl you know... I am half Italian and Olive Garden makes me angry because it's not real Italian food. It's the Tacobell vs. real Mexican food. Same sinario.

This is why Silver is one of the greatest villains of all time. None of the other Karate Kid villains can twist and bend Daniel's mental state until he snaps like a twig, and also beat him to a pulp. He made Daniel watch with open eyes as he pulled his life apart piece by piece and knew there was nothing he could do about it, then reminded us that he is the most dangerous physical threat as well. Silver is terrifying. I love every second.

Tori sees Kreese as a father figure, remember he protected her from that sleazy landlord that was making moves on her. Plus he mentored her very well in the All-Valley, telling her to fight Sam the way she felt was right. Great to see Robyn Lively again, she looks amazing for her age. Also, Chozen is the GOAT.

Him taking in Tory and passing CK on to her has been setting up for years. Identical backstories with moms, working crap jobs, fighting to survive.... hard to not see them as a family at this point.

Ooooo, well, Amanda got Tory back in school, got her counseling, and set her up with people to help her mother out so the family doesn't lose everything. Amanda is the sole reason why Tory isn't in juvie or a foster home. Kreese didn't do jack squat to further Tory in bettering herself. All Kreese did was threaten a scumbag pedal, so Tory would come back to Cobra Kai. After all, when Tory's scummy aunt came and threatened her, the first person Tory ran to for help was Amanda, not Kreese.

Nikki, their rival in the bar is Elizabeth Anne Rooney, whom Jessica told Daniel about in the third movie as a girl whole stole her boyfriend. I figured it out when Jessica called her Rooney because then I remembered Amanda called her Lizzie-Anne. Of all the childhood rivals on the show Amanda’s and Jessica’s is one of the few who hasn’t changed. Not the only one but one of a few.

Agree. I love that Nikki has inherited Steven’s “prejudices,” about Italian food. As the daughter of an Italian mother and quite a few years of living in Rhode Island (the summer haunt of Italian New Yorkers and New Jersey folk) I experienced the real deal, too.

The writing of this show is amazing. They can take the smallest details like Jessica Andrews (and the Mac & Cheese reference) from Karate Kid 3 and expand on it to connect it to this series. The same with the line from Karate Kid 3 about Silver saying his sensei's name (mentioned in S5 E1) and expanded upon and connected to this series. West Wing seasons 2 & 3 will always be the best written seasons of a series of all time to me. Cobra Kai feels like one of the best written shows I've ever watched that is connected to a previous series/movie franchise.

It was awesome to Jessica Andrews for the first time since part 3‼️ I immediately recognized her when I first saw her at the door since I know what her actress looks like today!! It finally took 5 seasons for Miguel and Robby finally reconcile and end their rivalry!!

this is hands down 1 of the best episodes of the entire series! Daniel and Johnny. Miguel and Robby. Amanda forgives Daniel. Daniel vs terry. Daniel wasn't ready for that fight with Silver tho.

Elizabeth is the reason Jessica met Daniel in the first place. Her bf cheated with her and that's why she went to LA and then remained his friend. She was getting over her heartbreak. She also set Daniel and Amanda up.

Remember when Daniel tried to tell Amanda about Kreese and she just blew him off and told him he was just bringing up old grudges and he needed to let it go? It wasn't until Demetri got his arm broken that Amanda started to believe some of what Daniel had told her. Still, she was apprehensive and believed he was making a mountain out of a molehill--after all, how could that many people have a bulls-eye for her husband?! I think Daniel did try to tell her--like he tried to warn Johnny (who also blew him off and was more focused on Daniel's vault to the top to defend his title than who Silver actually was/is). Daniel may have been so consumed by everything rushing at him and falling on his shoulders that he didn't know how to communicate with Amanda. Every time he tried, she got frustrated, which made Daniel angry and more withdrawn. One person REALLY knew what he was going thru, but Mr. Miyagi taught Daniel to bury the past and focus on the present--really not a good way to deal with trauma. Jessica saw some of what happened to Daniel and SHE was traumatized enough to book it back to Ohio! But I'm glad she was a voice for Daniel and Mr. Miyagi.

I LOVED seeing Jessica Andrews again. It was like she was talking to the audience when she explained how bad Cobra Kai was and why Daniel is so triggered by Terry Silver. “You should cut him some slack.”

Yes! I know some don’t agree or think of her movie as part of movie series…. But as much of an impact that Miyagi had on her, it would make since that she could have visited him over the years… or in the very least would have come to the funeral! You would think Miyagi would have wanted to introduce his only 2 students to each other at some point! Maybe they didn’t become significantly close, but they would at least have a small bond with how they felt about Mr Miyagi

I love stingray lol. Regardless of what you might feel about him in this show i cannot recommended Black Bird enough. He was phenomenal and terrifying in that show. It might be a bit much for Nikki i cant lie but maybe try it out in the future and see what you think!

Lol, I agree 100% about Olive Garden! Even their breadsticks aren't that great. Fazoli's breadsticks are much much better. My Italian grandpa's cooking spoiled me for Italian food. :D I honestly feel like there will be more about that new baby and especially Robby's reaction. Sure he's happy now but once there is the whole little family with Carmen and Miguel and the baby, Robby is likely to feel like an outsider. I do enjoy that Johnny isn't being the idiot anymore, it was past time for him to grow up. Btw, I think the word you wanted was "nemeses". ;D

Nice reaction. I'm just glad Amanda finally woke up, and as usual blames everyone else for lack of being supportive(she tells Jessica "you didn't think to tell me this") lol she always thinks Dan's issues are "karate rivalries" when it's more like PTSD for him. She also needs to stop biting off more than she can chew like talking crap to the bar bullies and not knowing one ounce of Karate. I think Amanda had she been more supportive of Dan from the start non of that would have been necessary, just saying... That fight between Daniel and Silver wasn't fair since Daniel was buzzed coming off a lot that day and wasn't ready for that fight. I don't think he was focused either since Terry kept saying things that he knew would trigger Daniel's rage, when you're pissed you fight worse in general but things will get crazier and better.

I guess it depends on which Olive Garden you go to. Here in Omaha Ne it's amazing. Poor Daniel. I'm so glad people are finally seeing what he was telling them.

not going to lie, I just made it thru Hurricane Ian (Orlando) and I kept checking for new reactions to cobra kai to help kill the time. Thankfully I didn't have any flooding or damage, but I have family and friends in Ft Myers, one lost their house.

For most of the show, Stingray was an unnecessary character. He was meant to be an awkward, comedy character but it wasn’t need because Johnny always provided the humor.

Shes more likely Kreese's granddaughter if anything. Betsy possibly didn't tell Kreese she was pregnant, and her parents never approved of him. My kid thinks maybe he found out and left anonymous invitation for her to see that "show" they put on at Valleyfest... and you know the rest. *NOT* saying she's right, but it's strange how quickly he took to her, and has gone out of his way for ever since. All Johnny ever got was tough love. Kreese has risked prison and losing CK altogether for Tory.

I am also Italian, from a VERY Italian family. And while 90% of Olive Garden's menu is trash, I can't deny the breadsticks and the soup are solid. Mostly because they're just trying to do food in that instance, and not trying to be "Authentic Italian."

It was very clever of the writers to make Jessics Amada's cousin. In KK3 I am 1 year younger than Johnny's character (Daniel & Johnny graduated in 84) . I graduated in 85, I have a 10 yr old and can barely keep up. No way at 55 would I know have a newborn !!

I highly suggest checking out the show on Apple TV called Black Bird. The actor that plays Stingray is in it and does an amazing job. Completely different from Cobra Kai.

*head nod* for acknowledging that in no way, shape or form is Daniel dragging Silver in a real fight. W/ the original 3 movies & his fight w/ Kreese, Daniel is scared mentally, beaten physically then, all of a sudden, he seems to catch everybody slipping when it matters most.....not this time Danny boy! 😆 Silver is an OG in this scene &, like you said, more experienced, a clearer mind & knows exactly what to say to get you rattled......which in Daniel's case, he doesn't really have to do much. I really love this series cause it shows more than just the main character's perspective.
