Welcome back to Famous Focus, today on the channel we are going to check out Cobra Kai season 5 details and theories that will change everything. The battle between Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle Fang Karate is far from over. Netflix has already renewed Cobra Kai for season 5 - and the season has already wrapped filming. That means the new batch of episodes will be here faster than fans can say, “Hai!” While everyone waits for release date news on Cobra Kai Season 5, here are some theories and predictions about what’s to come. Cobra Kai has already brought back plenty of familiar Karate Kid faces, like Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) and Ali Mills (Elisabeth Shue). Still, there’s one former Miyagi-Do Karate student that hasn’t resurfaced: Julie Pierce. Here are some of Cobra Kai season 5 details and theories.
Terry Silver calls in Mike Barnes to assist at Cobra Kai. And speaking of Karate Kid guests, there’s another villain to consider for next season. As seen in the video above, many Cobra Kai Season 5 fan theories suggest Terry could call in Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan). In The Karate Kid Part III, Terry hired Mike as a ringer to defeat Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) in the All-Valley Tournament. Of course, Daniel wins anyway, but Mike does bully him throughout the movie. Tory Nichols confronts Terry about the All-Valley Tournament and leaves Cobra Kai. Tory Nichols (Peyton List) has seemed bad to the bone since her debut in Cobra Kai, but she might soon turn over a new leaf. The Cobra Kai fighter showed more of her morally good side in season 4, especially during the All-Valley Tournament. She refused to fight dirty in her match with Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser) - there’s a first time for everything. I am a now older 80's kid, and I don't care how cheesy or goodie goodie people say this series is. I am invested 100%I and LOVE it! I can not wait for more season. I will binge watch every one!

I don't think Terry understood how much his machinations hurt Tory. She said that she was taking martial arts to show that she was better than the rich girls at something. If she could beat them at karate she could prove to herself that she was better. Now she thinks she isn't better which may make it impossible for her to continue martial arts, because even if she could win legally, she didn't.

@@seand.g423 There's a big difference between rigging the tournament in favor of a random competitor and Tory. That's the point, he would have done it anyway, but it will mess with Tory more than it would for most others.

@@tamaku2903 yes and the rematch probs will finally be the turning point of their rivalry, closing it off in the right way and starting over. Looks like Sam will battle her ‘evil self’. She’s clearly haunted after she lost to Tory, and blame herself for that. She would need to deal with her negative emotion especially her anger. While I think Tory has passed her old angry self because she finally got help from Amanda, but now she will be pushed to limits by Terry, while knowing that its all wrong because she wanted to win and be better FAIRLY

Born in 1976 Karate kid was one of my 5first movies at the theatre..7 years old my mind blow up..imagine the goosebumps when one day in 2018 seeing a promo on Red tube..and then all episodes released at once 20-25 minutes episodes ..Gosh the excitement i was a kid again..Best Series EVER ..

I don't see the reason why fans suddenly want Terry to fight Chozen, instead of Terry facing off Daniel. It's not Chozen's place to fight Terry.

I can deny rumor about Julie Pierce coming back as Kenny's mother. Kenny's mother is played by an actor named Michelle. She was supposed to be in Season 4 , at the end of Episode 2 or in Episode 3. The scene with Kenny was cut.

Julie is white, and kenny and the rest of his family are black. I highly doubt that Julie would be kenny's mother, but it is still possible

@@brickbybrickproductions3237 Julie will have different scenario in upcoming seasons. I don't see her playing Kenny's mother, but I do have an idea how she will enter the story. Here's a little easter egg from Season 4. Daniel was training Johnny when he said this: "Ambition without knowledge is like a boat on a dry land." These words were said in "The Next Karate Kid". There's already a connection. They both had Miyagi as the Sensei. Her entrance will be as Legendary as Chozen's. Maybe even more legendary, who knows.

Everyone is speculating how Julie MUST be Kenny's mother or Tory's dying mother. However, who is to say that her role is going to be that easy? It is possible that Julie joined the Navy and became a lawyer and is now practicing in the LA area as a defense attorney and will cross paths with Kreese and, inevitably, Daniel. I would like to see Julie sit down with Daniel and discuss Mr. Miyagi.

The series recently introduced Kandace, the aunt of Tory and the sister of her ill mother. In the film The Next Karate Kid, Julie Pierce has no brothers or sisters. JULIE PIERCE IS NOT TORYS MOM. I would much prefer to see her as the beautiful yet deadly ex wife and lost love of Terry Silver and the mother of his son Jack Silver played by Leo Howard. JULIE PIERCE SILVER aka LADY SILVER.

While I love Cobra Kai, I don't want it to go much past a sixth season. The idea of a karate based soap opera just seems weird. It would be a shame for it to fade away because people got bored with it or the writing got bad.

I'm pretty confidant that this will probably be the last season. They might extend it to a sixth season but I'm pretty sure that would be it. Given the storylines that are setup for season 5 I would have to think that most everything will be resolved in that season. I mean how could the possibly keep going once Terry is no longer in the picture?

Yep. I don't want it to end but I don't want it ruined BUT I feel confident because the writers have said they always had an ending in mind. This means it was "written" while the story was still fresh. Pretty much everything added is taking place right now.

I really would have preferred to see Julie at the end of season 4 instead of Chozen. But I have an idea where he has his role. Julie can easily be a role model to the girls of the show, and I think is the best opportunity for Tory to get out of Cobra Kai and become a real champion. Especially since Julie can identify with having a hard home life and might actually get through to Tory in ways that Amanda Larusso can't. Likewise she might be able to get through to Sam about not being a victim but not becoming the aggressor either. Sam needs to be reminded that karate is for protecting yourself and others, not for making people afraid to attack you or for striking first. Where I think I DO see Chozen excelling is that of everyone remaining in Sensei position- Chozen is the only one who has been actively training and teaching students for the past several years if not decades. He is in a position to tell both Daniel and Johnny to step back and become students again because neither of them was ready to lead and teach students because they hadn't become masters themselves yet. He is in the best position to let all the students know where this life of violence can take them for the better or for the worse, and how it no longer has a place in modern society as a method of warfare and emotional conflict resolution. His big lesson was "If the enemy insists on war, take away his ability to wage it" which can also mean stepping in and stopping the Valley war by some nonviolent means. He has degrees of experience and discipline that neither Johnny nor Daniel have and I think he needs to replace them as the sensei.

@Nang Lei I can get on board with that. One of the big draws of Mr. Miyagi is that he represented the foundations of Karate and all original martial arts- to defend yourself and those around you as a practical concern which could be a threat at any time. By bringing Chozen back, it keeps that connection that it is a part of Japanese culture, not just something to be appropriated, as well as bringing back the idea that Karate is a life long pursuit of practice- not just something you do in your younger years for exercise and to beat up school bullies.

Yeah, but it's about the fact that he's been teaching in one of the dojos left to him by his Uncle Sato, and he's still a karate teacher, it's also training in it's own ways, it's probably been that way ever since the 2nd movie, pretty sure he'll be a great sensei in the show... But, a question I'm now asking myself, while Kreese is in jail, are there any chance that he'll run into Dutch ?? We all know that Dutch is in jail because the actor's seriously reluctant to join the show and Kreese would possibly end up in the same prison, but the guy playing Dutch could already change his mind and that's probably gonna happen this way that Dutch would show up, just out of the blue.... A lot of stuff can happen in jail, as well as outside, it's a completely different world... Back to Chozen, if he's still teaching karate in one of Sato's dojo, then it's obvious he's still training all that time since the 2nd movie.... Looking forward to see what Chozen's gonna do, but Silver might be in for a big surprise... Terry Silver: You're playing with fire Danny Boy... Chozen: And I'm gazoline...

Considering how short seasons are compared to old school shows, I'd have to disagree. TNG & BTVS managed 7 seasons without losing quality, over twice as long per season as Cobra Kai. VOY & DS9 didn't lose much in later seasons either. But it probably shouldn't go past season 15 ;)

Daniel and Julie surely have met in the past through Mr. Myagi. Just a wild theory. But I feel like Cobra Kai is playing out this season. We need a spinoff. The character who reminds me the most of Julie is Tory. I can see Daniel calling in Julie, like he has Chozen, and Julie to mentor Tory and become her Sensai, who is clearly disgusted with Silver. With Tory moving to Boston to do an east coast style of Myiagi Do under Julie. There could be monks as supporting cast as well as cameos from Cobra Kai stars in the new show.

I'm really happy and amazed they are planning to make more seasons after the 5th season! Idk what is coming next up the creators sleeves! 👏👏😁 they are geniuses and keep the karate kid universe so interesting in New ways how to tell more of the lore and story! It's awesome, I can't wait! And a lot of what they are and have been showing was so surprising and I would do a doubletake, like ,"Whaaat?! No way! 🤯😲"

Two daytime soap vets working together again since Karate Kid III. Thomas Ian Griffith (who plays Terry Silver) played Catlin Ewing on Another World (1984-87). Sean Kanan (who played Mike Barnes) played on General Hospital, Sunset Beach, Young and the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful.

I would really like to see Hillary Swank join the cast of Cobra Kai even if it is just for a few episodes. The truth is that there was a lot of talented actors in that movie but the writing was horrible. Julie probably could have met Daniel at Mr. Miyagi’s funeral.

Tory will join Miyagi Do. Daniel won't be able to train Tory because of her anger issues. That's where Julie will come in because she also had anger issues which came in control by Mr Miyagi's training.

@@yazancallas In season 4, during Cobra Kai training, Robby taunted Tory for lack of concentration and Tory immediately attacked Robby stopped by Sensei Kreese and called upon his office immediately. Robby was angry on his dad Sensei Lawrance and he reconciled with Johnny at the end of season 4. Tory believes that the whole world is against her that's why Amanda always said Tory to look for someone to give her the right directions and that's where Julie Pierce will step in. How will Julie Pierce enter Tory's life will be in season 6.

Am I nuts or was it Christmas time in season 3 weeks away from the all valley, but season 4 doesn't seem to take place in that timeline , Kenny trained for 3 months i think, How? Did they move the date when they added girls and weapons division? And I missed it!? Lol

Whatever Julie's role is in this movie I really do hope she stayed in contact with the monks. That trip changed her life in ways I doubt she even understands. (I mean geeze they even came to the city for her as a gift.) I hope something about this comes up at some point as it would be heart warming to hear in all this chaos!

I am so excited for season 5 Cobra Kai . Ever since I saw Terry Silver pay off the ref at the All Valley Tournament I can not get the idea out of my mind that it will sooner or later bother Tori so much that she knows she did not win fair and she will turn to Sam to get revenge on Terry . Then that will bring down the dojo Cobra Kai as it is.... not the series . It of course will not be as simple as all that with Mike Barnes and Chosen around and there is still the matter of Miguel with meeting his dad , Johnny going to Mexico with Robbie to find Miguel , Demetry& Yas , Eli/ Hawk& Moon , Kenny's promise to Anthony.... about a world of pain , and or Hilary Swank joining the cast . There is so much more to happen.... like will there be a trial for Kreese to be proven innocent , will stingray admit to lying in court , and since Kreese has been a major help in Tori's life.... will she visit Kreese in jail and try to set Terry up for bring down her Sensei ? I am really looking forward to finding out what's next .

On season 5 teaser it showed tory at a knew dojo looked like it was run by silver and maybe someone else idk but it showed her training in it but later it showed her at her house looking at it though

I think it’s important to remember Julie was from Boston and Mike Barnes was not from California (I don’t think it ever said where he was from but he had to be flown in). They aren’t local so the likelihood of them having kids in the area is slim.

If I'm correct this was the last tournament for robby tory miguel sam hawk and the rest of the character's in high school so maybe robby will start his own dojo and chozen sensei of miyagi do and if julie do returns i kinda like the idea of her being kennys mom because we could have a possible interaction between her and daniel since kenny and anthony might get in a high school fight and i think terry might make barnes a sensei and they'll do to kenny what they did to daniel because if robby leaves they will need a new star student and kenny is the youngest but i don't see kennny becoming a bully i think he'll protect the bullied kids because why would he work with the people who made fun of him and bullied him and i think terry or daniels wife will help tory out with her little brother and with johnny gone i think eagle fang will go to miyagi do while devon goes to cobra kai
