You have to wait after each part going to break it up into 3 parts released over the span of a year. That killed the show for me and I've lost interest now. A lot of wasted time watching the first 5 seasons cause I'm not watching the 6th now.

I cancelled Netflix about 8 months ago because I wasn't watching it. But now I'm going to take advantage of their $6.99/month offer to come back, because I HAVE to see this final season of Cobra Kai!!

The final season will be broken up into 3 parts, from what I've heard. The first part is dropping in July 18, the second on November 28, and the third part in 2025. Each part consisting of 5 episodes.

Biggest pet peeve for this show is all the extra background characters at the dojos. Like they can literally cut the amount of people in half, just focus on our main group. Quality over quantity. Still hyped though 🤘🏻

Cobra Kai is kinda getting old imo. I rewatched the first 3 seasons like 10 times, but now everyone are just kinda friends and it feels the same. Hope s6 can change that!

Daniel teaches defense. Johnny teaches offense. Mike Barnes will teach the best of both. Granted, he was a bad guy in KK3, and he partially redeemed himself in season 5, but I think he will definitely be a major player in season 6.

Please stop trying to make Hilary Swank's character happen. She barely trained with Miyagi. What will she bring to the Cobra Kai universe? She has no tournament experience and didn't practice for that long. If anything, she'd be there to pay homage to Mr. Miyagi (visiting his grave) I honestly don't see any use for her character. Maybe a pep talk to the kids? I don't know.

Yes!! I second this!!! 👍🏼 Plus, if I recall correctly, there was an interview I watched with Billy and Ralph (back during S2 or 3) where Ralph was asked some question about the KK franchise as a whole. Two times during his answer, he specifically said “those/these 3 films” when referring to the “KK Franchise”. Now, take that as you will lol. But from my perspective, it seems/sounds like even the Karate Kid himself doesn’t consider the 4th movie as part of the KK Franchise either. So that + all the good points you brought up, there’s really no point or need for her character to be on/in the show. Not our show though, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see lol.

We never got to see Mike Barnes in the earlier seasons. Such a waste of his character. I mean we don’t know anything about him. We don’t know why he was karate’s badboy? We don’t know why he was so volatile and ruthless in KK3? Why he was such an angry teenager? All we know is that he grew up owning some furniture store. Too many holes in Mike’s story. We got a whole backstory for John Kreese, Chozen and Johnny. So disappointing.
