Good to see a comparison between the Cobra Island Viper and this set. Target canceled my order for the Cobra Island version and I never saw one in the store so I paid the big $ on ebay for one. I'm just glad these are different and I prefer the Cobra Island too. Not a big fan of the color scheme on the leader but the other two are still really nice. Really like the effects too. The different Vipers look cool together. I'm sort of out on GI JOE for financial reasons but I wouldn't mind getting this set at a reduced price. Love the troop builders.

Wondering if these will last? Can't decide if I want it or not, even after the review. Hard to troop build a six-inch line. No space for me, personally.

Just grabbed this off Amazon for almost 50% off. Spent like $56 I think. I'll be honest, I bought this purely because I have no weapon effects and wanted to try them out. I have no Cobra figures and I feel like I may have just opened Pandora's box. I have no where to display these three, yet it makes sense to own some bad guys to pose against the Joe's if I ever wanted to.. and I definitely like the weapon effects. The problem.. is now I kinda wanna collect all the Cobra figures.

I got my first Viper 3pks today and I like em. Also got Tomax, Xamot and Stalker as well. Have a few normal Cobra Island Vipers and a few Python Patrol on pre-order as well. We need more Alley Vipers though

I have four of the Cobra Island vipers so I had to get two of these three packs. So I have four of the grungy blues and two of the golden gray and maroons. Makes for a nice army.. but I would have rather the two traditional colored vipers be the same color as the Cobra Island. I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that all three of those vipers are of A different race. It makes the army buildings aspects of this a lot more realistic.

I wish the Vipers were the same colors as the Cobra Island Vipers. Was not really interested in the officer. But the weapon effects are awesome.

Just ordered a set on Amazon for $51.99. Very nice since I'm only interested in the cobra vipers, officers and infantry guys for cobra. Already got baroness with her bike just need a cobra commander.

After fighting with these guys trying to set up a photo, it started to highlight how much the Classified line has improved. Everyone’s mileage will vary but but it was like a trip back in time: mine needed the shock oil treatment on the hips and the thigh swivels were stuck. Also forgot how restrictive the vest is. Love the new rifles though. And you can actually combine some of the effect pieces.

Holy smokes I am running out of room with all of these troop builders with 7 Cobra Troopers, 7 Cobra Infantry, 7 Cobra Officers, 4 Cobra Island Vipers, 2 of these 3-pack Vipers, 7 Alley Vipers, 7 BATs, 7 Red Ninjas, and 4 Blue Ninjas (using my Articulated Icons Clan of Dusk ninjas to round out my ninja squad). Hasbro really needs to start releasing more G.I. Joe figures to match my Cobra collection.

Picked up only the Gray one from darkside. I was lucky to have found 3 Target Exclusive Vipers when they dropped Jan 1st 2021

Never did army building either

I got two of the Target exclusives but never opened them. So had to get this set to open.

I got into the line after the Vipers where easy to find so I pre ordered two of these packs, I also now have like 8 cobra troopers 4 regular and then the 4 cobra island ones.

I keep debating this one, I want a Viper, but at the same time I don't want to army build in this scale after Decades of army building the old scale, I mean I have only so much space. I am a bit put out by the distribution issues with this line as a result. the muzzle blasts are a nice add on.

Interesting to learn that the target exclusive is notably different than this three pack. I had to buy the three pack off Amazon I think it was 60 but the price is back up to 70 for the three pack. Honestly I was impressed with this build but I didn’t have any of the target exclusive vipers to compare to. What I ended up having to do is order them from resellers on eBay. Not the best experience 😂 I ordered two and they were pricy of course and it’s take > a week to get them, one arrived today but I didn’t even bother to unbox it yet and the second one was to have also arrived today but has not yet been updated to out for deliv. Now I feel like I need to buy a few more of the target exclusives if they’ve got any new ones left that aren’t the costs of a super 7 ultra which at this point they are if you’re looking at eBay. Wish these were released into the main lines as they are one of the more photogenic and easy to articulate figures imho, going off the Amazon 3 pack of course. Enjoyed the review as always!

My white viper has black arms which is kinda disappointing & I thought maybe they messed up the heads nope the other viper has same skin all round

Really don't like how muted their colors are. I guess they could be a squad that's been on the battlefield if you applied some dirt paint apps.

I still do the same thing. Now i know and knowing is half the battle. Its expensive for me to army building. But now i will buy different versions. I have c.i. viper and pp viper, if i have a chance to buy 3 pack i will buy' em.

I remember when the viper first came out how much people where gettting for them 3rd party. I am happy with mine. I will not pick this pack up.
