This video features several clips of Raptor and Scorpion units with Metropolitan Police and City of London Police Road Crime Teams (RCT) specialising in crimes committed by criminals who use vehicles against their victims (e.g. moped crime). Such units typically travel in packs and are specialized in Tactical Pursuit And Containment (TPAC), the method of using multiple units to surround and contain a suspect vehicle to prevent it's escape - often pre-emptively. These units use high performance BMW cars and motorcycles to carry out their work.

What would happen if the Mercedes went out and hit another car, will the police be at fault with how aggressive they where with trying to get through ?

@@JosephRawsthorne31 True. But given theyre firearms Id imagine it was a serious threat to life. Justification at the end of the day. The mercedes however did not technically have to yield or cross the white line on a red light.

Thanks! They switched from the two tone sirens back in the 1980s to imitate the same siren sounds you hear in the US - they've evolved a bit since to be higher pitched sounding. Some vehicles use lower tones but it's usually older vehicles or larger vehicles, such as fire trucks.

Personally i think you're right at first i thought they were for possible unmarked armed response untill i seen the stickers, so yeah it probably is EOD, CBRNE, the driver is also wearing black thermals

Protestor removal. Another one of my videos was about the protest they were operating at. They unstuck the protestors from windows using some agent.

Most of these unusual unmarked cars are NCA. Believe they are effectively company cars with blues and twos.

@@billandyeng Most of them are the Met, the NCA has very little to respond to. Yes they're basically company cars but serve for a lot of on call work in specialist departments.

Greetings! The UK works a lot on secrecy, intelligence and covertness to carry out operations, as oppose to firepower and manpower. For example the Prime Minister travels in low profile vehicles and can take any route at any time..

I was wondering if the unmarked was shielding the marked from the junction, or that perhaps it was safer to be parallel so they wouldn't rear-end them if they stopped suddenly... But with the following clips of them turning around and around, it almost seems like the unmarked was practicing pursuing the marked? And the parallel at the junction may have been to keep them going straight?? Who knows, perhaps they were just very lost haha!

They were pursuing street racing cars that were leaving an unauthorised event where I was stood. I imagine the maneuver was to take up both lanes and show presence of sort - especially if they were going to contain someone!

Smooth no, progressive yes. Wouldn't go down well on a refresher with the driving school but it gets them to a firearms job quick enough. No real dangers there, just aggressive tactics nobody other than 19 would get away with.
