Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.
The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish."

Coccolino is my one addiction! Talk about an incredible ALTERED STATE...and I most certainly would have physical withdrawal without Coccolino. What a wizard of knitting music together...fabulous. Anything that creates EUPHORIA for an individual will cause addiction. The second time one partakes of something that alters one's state of consciousness into euphoria...that person is ADDICTED. Happily!

The opening lines are from a speech written and spoken by Charlie Chaplin in 1940. This speech is perhaps more relevant today than it was then. Unfortunately, greed is more prevalent today than any other time, the disparity between rich and poor grows even wider. greed has indeed poisoned our souls. It's time to wake up to what we have become. A world where the shareholder is the catalyst for consumerism.

Wha thank yu Ken. Knew it from a deep house track, where despite excellent sound quality, I couldn't quite grasp the entire sentence. Well, at least up until " emperor" that is. Somehow felt it stated something worthwhile, yet was unable to hear the end of first sentence. Thanks again, you've improved my brain on this day :)

You have such a skill for picking out and mixing tracks that flow perfectly together, and for entwining those tracks with some amazing clips of dialogue. I know with absolute certainty that when I click on a new Coccolino Deep mix that I will be lost to the world from the moment I click play to the moment it ends. Did just discover, "deep you can say. One mix after another (I) get hypnotized and made me think, what exactly is the set up. Been on for a few days now, mix after mix with regular goosebumps sweat in the hands-smile in your face- and a kind of lift to another dementia Mix of film and music... Takes your breath away!!!
