I always get the same feeling when I fly from Barajas to Heathrow: The open space between the terminals and the four runways in Barajas remind me of massive airports like Dallas, whereas Heathrow is too busy and cramped.

Es porque el avión levanta el morro antes de aterrizar y por tanto la cámara apunta más alto

Yes, it looks so, but I guess it was the camera position plus the displaced threshold.

crissufragio No, Avianca viene acá con 330 y 767 (espero que pronto con 787), se ve que el avión es pequeño y la mayoría de los aviones que aterrizan en la 33L suelen serlo (no siempre).

In this case, a bit of tele zoom was used so it looks slower. If a wide angle had been used, it would like more speedy.

Es una ilusión óptica por la distancia focal de la lente, unido al umbral desplazado de la pista.
