to be fair though, some of the punches thrown by the other fighter were targeting the place on the back of the head where you’re neck meets your skull. It is very easy to receive permanent nerve damage or even become paralyzed from an injury in that location. Had one of those hits actually been hard and targeted enough without a proper block, this fight could’ve easily ended quite literally a trip to the hospital
