You should just build an upside down roof and use the classic 2×2plate with technic pin holes. It looks almost exactly the same, and is actually connected together instead of just sitting there. I guess the one downside is colors are probably more limited

you could also use 2x2 modified plates with technic hole underneath to get the same tiled look and it uses less pieces. reference ninjago city set

Since I'm planning to build a circular landing platform (for my custom Nu-class shuttle - the one you have too) with a way leading to it, the last technique is definately the best for me. I really had a hard time thinking about the top layer. I'm trying to replicate the scene in CW where Delta Squad has its cameo.

Your camo mat - using the inverted tile with the bar on the other side let's you use inverted hollow round 1x1 plates for additional variety. You can also put the soup bowl tiles on top for 5texture

1:38 so know it’s not Lego but on them end tubes or and all of the round bits a little blob of bluetac could be used under each tube to hold it in place and to stop it rolling around it’s not damaging to the bricks like using super glue would be and if you use a small enough ball of tac you won’t even see it.

3:40 For the sand bag/stone wall build, I wonder how it would look if instead of using the 1x1 flat plate to fill the gaps in on the back side, instead using the same build technique with the levers on both sides and using 3x bricks and plates to cover the top and sides to make this build be useable from both sides?
@coconutbricksstudios
@coconutbricksstudios Жыл бұрын
Ya that would work, although the edges may need to be adjusted to fit with a wall.
