I still wonder why COD devs decided to invent names and change some designs for the guns instead of naming them from their real life counterparts, if smaller games can do it why can’t COD?

I like to think that the fictional weapon names and stylized models were an intentional design choice by the devs, not because of licensing issues. I actually like CoD's stylized weapons because I think they look pretty cool.

They are based in California and it's kinda illegal to depict real guns in their game.

@@Culture1911 Not sure about this, but I don't think California's strict gun laws apply to video games, sure there's some firearms marketing laws in the state but I don't think they directly apply to video games since there's no mention of it in the bill, atleast that's from what I've read, might have to look further. I've said this before but CoD's fictional weapon names and stylized designs might be an intentional design choice made by the devs and not because of state laws.

I haven’t seen any game making H&K Reload Style on an UMP, rather than MW3. But it’s still nice to me.

Seeing the G36 with it's top rail almost fully removed is so cursed.

Yeah, that's the discontinued KAC upper rail. You're meant to put an Aimpoint CompM3 on that one, but there's a variant that is meant for the EOTech 553s as well. They're super rare but they were used by some European special police teams in the early-mid 2000's, same with Baltimore's SWAT team and some other SWAT team in Georgia.

@@F1RST_BLUD1 I keep thinking about it and it's kind of growing on me to be honest. I just don't like the exposed charging handle. It seems like it would get caught on stuff. But it does look cool. I think if it was it's own weapon I'd love it, but because it's a G36 I expect the top rail to look a certain way.

Weapon models is an easy win for ready or not, animation style just depends on what you like but overall animation quality goes to ready or not cause there’s a lot of little details you can see with guns actually sounding like guns

As a animator, mw3 is technically better (even if some are downgrade from previous) - weight effects, make it more believable and less stiff, the weapon wiggles instead of shaking in a stiff way - fingers better animated, the fingers poses are better and slightly more natural while on ready or not the operator looks like to have tendonitis - less stiff poses - less stiff hip fire animations Only thing ready or not wins is the sudden shakes of fast reloading, but literally mw3 is technically better and extreme hard to someone reproduce while ready or not is easier

I hope they make a Bullet Force vs Modern Warfare III 2023, II 2022, & 2019 weapon comparisons. There a lot of similar guns in the games that can be compared, because I do not see videos comparing the 4 games.

Ready or Not has better model quality, less jarring camera movement, and takes at least the smallest amount of time to consider putting magazines away. The MW reboots tend to treat anything off-screen as a magical space where nothing exists to save fractions of a second on their reloads. I still say both are too fast and better suited to shooting competitions as opposed to active engagements, but eh. That's vidya games.

Names complaints and graphics aside MW3 is quite going into the WW2 treatment its now kinda good with BR Zombies Multiplayer but we wont talk about the other mode

Ready or not reloads feel professional, while mw3 feels like an a*shole that knows how to use a gun.
