The best part is, based on what taka from tfs has said about working with purple eyes... The soup store was based on a true story. Purple was on the phone with a friend who was clothes shopping at a store that only sold soup, and the soup store bit was basically his reaction to that phone conversation.

SPOILER ALERT there were a few issues i had with the series like the whole euphy thing and the school moments where also a bit weird like the catching the cat episodes. suzaku was also annoying af but i get that he was meant to be that way. Still a good series with a beautiful ending but i dont think its a masterpiece, still one of my favorites though

After watching this series over and over again, I just realized that LaLouche asked the elevator to play Kenny Loggins greatest hits and when Suzaku goes to kick the turret, Footloose by Kenny Loggins plays. Damn, I never noticed that little detail. I am always surprised by the love and care put into each of these episodes.

The quality of voice-acting on the "soup" scene is incredible. They start speaking normally, but slowly raise the volume and intensity with every sentence. They don`t go down they just top one another form start to finish. When they start screaming they sound like they are not even waiting for the other one to finish and they are just cutting eachother off. There is no starting out low, going high and then resetting with every sentence, there is just higher and higher.
