They are different entirely, God eater rely on Oracle cells to become god eaters while revenants used different substances. And the god eaters can't become origami only Revenants can become the Lost. The Revenant might be a creation meant to be used against the Origami but they are a flawed creation unlike Fenrir's god eaters.

Silva look exactly like on of the god eaters from the first game (I have all three) so my best guess is yess this takes place in the same world give or take a few years

I mean, the rest aren't bad people or took bad decisions, they where forced to be a succesor for the sake of the ones they loved.

@@otroweonllamadoseba I haven't touched the game in 3 months because I'm having a moral question after everything I've been through. I'm not sure if I did the right thing in sparing Aurora and Eva anymore. I did it because I wanted to hang on to the values of justice (in Karen's girlfriend case) and hope (in Eva's case). I'm no longer doubting regarding Eva, but I still don't know if I should restart the game and just let the girlfriend find out what's beyond her mind and soul. What would you do in my place ? I think this is the conflict our character is supposed to go through. To imagine if certain values are still that important in the current world.

@@JabamiLain she did awful things but wasn't ok with them she didn't have a choice, do bad to let other live or do right letting more people die. Aurora did what she saw as the right choice to save the most people she could, in my case i did spare her because there's no justice in letting die someone who's crime was trying to do good for others.

@@otroweonllamadoseba her crime wasn't that. It was that she and Karen weren't more restrained when they discovered the cure for death. I think they were too eager, and that's what caused the Calamity. I'm not saying they shouldn't have looked into the parasite, but I think before of thinking about commercializing it, they should have been more patient in messing with this evolutionary form. I spared her because I thought even if she still hasn't payed enough, her judgement should come at the hands of a more capable court. But Mido, the comments, Silva, the fear of losing Io and the awareness this was all a big experiment the higher powers were seeking to profit from got me thinking. What if to survive in the new world, to evolve, I have to let go of some old institutions in order to see a new design ? I mean, the reason I even considered ending Eva was because I feared her powers would mean the end of the Revenants. But I decided against it, believe it or not, because her singing reminded me even in a chaotic wasteland, beauty and hope can still thrive, and order can be restored through them.

@@JabamiLain well, they were forced to so. Without that and the Queen they couldn't have stopped the horros from killing and destroying everyone on that world. If you're not a God Eater than you have the same chance of defeating them as an ant has to defeat you.

I expect we may see one or two of them return in God Eater 4

@@hawkright8706 There's definitely more than just the buggarally dolls, but timeline-wise they're probably going to put this in line with God Eater 3. They'll likely make an appearance in the Burst expansion for God Eater 3.
