Lightning Web Components (LWC) give any JavaScript developer a modern, web standards-based path to building apps and experiences on the Salesforce Platform.
In this live coding session you’ll learn how to plan and convert existing Visualforce pages to LWC, using the latest features of Salesforce Extensions for VS Code. We demonstrate conversion to LWC by walking through various components of a real world Visualforce page- including Input Components, Output Components, Tables, Forms, and more.
In this live coding session we will:
- Convert Visualforce pages to LWC
- Leverage the latest IDE features
- Share implementation best practices

At 16:30 they enabled "Lightning Explorer" - this has been removed from the VS Code extension in mid-2020. github.com/forcedotcom/salesforcedx-vscode/issues/2491

Hello, Amazing explanation, i want to ask one question. can we use dynamic Apex in LWC Apex controller. Also can we do dynamic programming, can we use Generic Sobject in LWC like we do in Visualforce

You have to understand both Aura and LWC. I see some.scenarios as follows: a) Existing would be mostly Aura so to maintain or support them you need to know Aura b) LWC is future and any new implementation may require you to know LWC. c) Converting like the one shown in this video requires both Aura and LWC. And for one's exactly like in the video u need to understand the VF implementation and LWC. My conclusion is concentrate to.understand both AURA and LWC till LWC becomes a basic standard.
