It is one of the channels which does not say ki cp karne se palcement lag jayegi. It will help in your placement. Getting a SDE is much more than that. Otherwise, channels these days tells that No CP means no placement.

Well to be honest cpp learning curve is the hardest so I won't recommend cpp for beginner because you will be engaged in years learning cpp even to be a intermediate programmer

@@mickyman753 for intermediate I would say more then a year there is no hand holding in cpp also no memory management so yeah for a good programmer in cpp it would take you a year or maybe more but again people say cpp to be fastest for no other reason as it is the fastest in par with c and second to assemble

@@CyberRazeR so buddy if know java in and out and I'm comfortable with it , so will you advice me too shift to cpp for practice cp on websites like codeforces. I just want to prepare for initial online coding rounds and want to practice for them , but people say leetcode and gfg aren't enough to practice and one has to do cp , but java being slow and lesser cp community , is giving me doubts , can you help?

This depends, how much you have learned, if you have just started with DSA, then focus for 2-3 month on dsa, solve around 200-300 problems, n then start with web d project and keep continue practicing dsa .
