If you' re say it's just Cody, then you don't know the history of the Rhodes family and WWF/WWE look what they had to do just to make Mania a sucess old ass stonecold, Vince got in the ring, Cody help create a company that has better talent then WWE and this being the first AEW going to WWE and it one of it founders, Cody has unfinish business, and it show's just how much Vince wants him and maybe to show he sorry how things were handle in the past, Cody even got his own bus, and I will bet the farm Vince also promised WWE title to him, Cody has come home, this is Cody final run

I disagree with aew having better talent especially this past year in 2022. If they do have better talent aew is doing it wrong. Aew is trying to do the same as wwe and it isn’t working.

Man I hated the Stardust gimmick. There could only be one Goldust and Dustin pulled it off, maybe if Cody started it same as his brother. I’m glad he can just be himself now.

if anything, it showed that fans were paying attention to what he was doing outside of WWE, especially in AEW. But it also showed just how AEW dropped the ball with him. He felt like a bigger star than he (or anyone else outside of Kenny) ever was in AEW, on his first night back because of this Wrestlemania return.

I know...and as someone from europe I feel you but he was always a huge talent in wrestling or a REAL ONE so it's normal for the crowd and fans to love him as Cody really loves wrestling and fans.

Its called going away and rebuilding yourself into a star, look at Drew McIntyre for example, no one gave a shit about him and thats why he got released, went away and built on himself and came back as a megastar and is flourishing

Ok, but he changed the wrestling industry, he created a serious competitor of WWE, thing that did not exist since 90s. The born of AEW is one those events that will remain in the sport-entertainment history. And the fact that he returned as "american nightmare" is another huge thing, because it was his character in AEW. That's why there was a really big pop by the crowd (and not only by the crowd)...we can even say It was a WrestleMania Moment
