Put the lighter in your fishing vest and leave it there. Also add a pair of clippers, and a set of hemastats. Almost always needed.

Also, I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, I so love all the scenery shots from your drone, and other nature shots of the rivers and brooks you camp at. I always stop at the local fly shops and buy flies. It gives me a chance to talk to the locals and get some fishing information.

Back in 1988 a buddy and I went from Silverton to Telluride in a Bronco. We went on a narrow road that went up above the tree line. On the way down into Telluride I used the brakes too much and caused the lines to vapor-lock and the brakes to fail , but luckily I coasted safely into a grove of aspen trees. Lesson learned …….

If you guys are still in the area, be sure to head up Hwy 600 to Williams Reservoir. If its warm enough, paddle boarding on Williams and more river camping up that way! Love watching your videos, keep them coming!

First let me say my husband went to school with your aunt here in Texarkana. And he of course knows your Dad. So proud of you two living a life many can only dream of. But my question is who taught you to cook? You are very comfortable cooking in limited space and with limited utensils. Have put your cookbook on my Christmas list.

I taught myself with other recipes and then trial and error on what flavors we like. I started cooking for Cody when we first got together in 2006. Then from there it just got better and better. When we first stated camping I wanted to cook exact how I cooked in the house. When you camp every weekend you get tired of hot dogs burgers and such. Here we are today. I love my little kitchen.

I love oatmeal with chocolate chips in it. I like dried cranberries, too. We have stayed 2 times in Pagosa Springs while we visited that area. Loved it there. Love the guitar music while you are at your second camp site. Great supper, Kellie! Gongrats Cody! Catching your limit is such a good feeling. Happy camping 😊.

Yes! It's not only where you fish, but when! Dawn and dusk. When I was a little girl, Dad and Grandpa would take me fishing with them up in the mountains on the UT/WY border. We left the house when it was still dark. I would come home eaten alive by mosquitos, but we would have more than enough rainbows for 7 people! YUM!

Anytime I cook my husband uses our patio because of space 😂😂😂. I do wish we had gotten the camper like y’all’s but my husband loves the patio. I’m always saying I need more counter space. 😂😂

I am pretty new to your channel, and I dearly love it. My wife and I live in Colorado, and we also own a truck camper, (Arctic Fox 1140), so we literally do not have to leave the state to enjoy the beauty that Colorado has to offer. Of course we do travel to many other states to enjoy America. Oh, I plan on buying your cookbook. Don't tell my wife since it will be a big surprise for her. Thanks for inspiring us to get out, and do some camping.

I love it when Cody does not catch any fish, but sometimes he does. I really like Pagosa Springs. We stop there for lunch at Kip’s Cantina on our way to Durango from Santa Fe. We stayed at a campground once in Pagosa. And enjoyed it.

Charging a power bank by USB is going to be slow because it's very low current. Better to charge by cigarette lighter or a dedicated 12v cable direct from the start battery..

Long time ago I picked up Harbor Freight small foldable solar and I hook up into car cigarette lighter it works great the car cigarette lighter I bought separately I cut the solar wild tips I hooked into lighter

Incredibly beautiful vlog !! I absolutely LOVE foggy and overcast days. It's so incredibly magical. Amazing ice on the mountains. Continues to prove that the sun doesn't give off the heat, comes from below where heat rises. It's incredibly amazing to be learning so much truth. We have been to that restaurant in Pagosa. We met friends up there 2 years ago. It is funny we both live in North Texas area and meet for dinner in Pagosa Springs to hang out. Beautiful area. Now I have a cool camping location to find in the area. Thanks for sharing.
