Your Jackery will run the fridge longer from the 12VDC outlet rather than the 120VAC outet. With the 120VAC side, it has to run the internal inverter to make AC from the DC, just to turn around and reconvert back to DC once inside the fridge. Give it a whirl!

That’s exactly what I do with mine. Had my fridge going for 6 days off the Jackery when in Death Valley in February, alternating between charging the Jackery from the solar panel and the 12V cigarette lighter jack in the car.

As mentioned already, the inverter wastes power. You should power your frig off of the 12v outlet. Hobotech as a bunch of videos about Jackery Products.

I have the same fridge/freezer. You'll love it!!! Game changer!!! It did take some getting used to though. Kept forgetting to thaw out my supper! Never had that problem with ice.

The refrigerator will draw less power from the Jackery using the 12v adapter. Using the household outlet converts 110v to 12v which wastes power.

Using the 12 volt DC plug on the Jackery to power your cooler, actually using less power than the 110 volt AC plug, because the inverter isn't using power to convert from DC to AC.

We tried that when we were driving plugged into the truck but the refrigerator seemed to not stay as cold. We could try that with the jackery next time.

What was the battery life on the jackery running your fridge/freezer combo? Looking at getting a set up for a camping fridge.

Without using the solar panels for 2 days straight when we packed up to go home the jackery was at 24%!

Tell ya what Kelly....your recipes are inspiring. We just made Polenta for the very first time the other night. Topped it with Ratatouille (I did not have eggplant however), used squash, tomatoes, onions.....it was fabulous. Got the idea from your recipe. I am experimenting with new recipes as well so I appreciate your ideas. Go check out Yeung Man Cooking on KZfaq Morrocan Chick Pea Stew .....it is AWESOME. I think you guys will really like it. I used sweet potatoes from my garden and Kale & Collard greens from my winter garden. It is a great recipe. Thanks again for all you do.
