Phantom has perfectly nice items, but their prices kill me! I could get that assortment at Red Apple or a Shelton FIreworks for less than $100

I still have a Phantom sales flyer Phantom from 2008, the most expensive assortment is the A-025C Grand Finiale assortment costing a mere $79.99 and just looks like a better lineup full of assorted cakes. on the flyer itself there is a coupon for a free Battle of Yorktown A-016SC assortment which would regularly be $64. I get inflation but what the hell

MANY of us true pyros won't admit to buying this kit more than once!😊 Still my Fav. Assortment ever. Used to save the used tubes to smell throughout the year! 😅 actually my true introduction to mortar shells!! Over 35 years ago😮

my favorite rocket from my youth was the 'Texas Pop Rocket' with duel report. they still make them but now its a two stage with only 1 report, the other stage is a bit of sparly bits... far cry from the original but its still 'ok'

Have a Phantom Fireworks in Racine, WI prices are outrageous so i just drive an hour to Hammond Indiana buy from a few location there.

Those comets are the finale of those magical barrages. They just went kinda early, lol. That item is one of my favorite classics. They used to also make a crackling candle barrage- which was hella fun, and a liu yang barrage- which was a furious barrage of tiny bursts. Like the candle of yhe same name, but way more effective due to the higher volume of shots in the air. Ive always wanted the tube assortment, because tubes were also part of my early pyro adventures. It just never seems to make it into my cart... Its a long drive to the closest store, so i dont get there often. I DO get to their S&S tents, and will gladly pay the $, because they have some of the best high end fountains around. All tents are spendy, so Phantom is no worse than the others. Thus, i go to whomever has the best items. Ive always been happy with what I buy from the stores. Its just a tad salty. I mostly avoid the high ticket items, though. An hour or so further are 2 wholesalers- and they have HUGE selections of 500g cakes and tube racks.

I've never been disappointed with Phantom except for their prices. It is best when they are doing a buy 1 get 2 free, that makes them competitive with other outlets. They have their best deals during the off season when they are trying to clear out inventory..

I remember the large single shot tubes in the early 80s cost $30-40 for one. My dad would say are you crazy because $25 was my bank role. lol $25 got your a lot of small fireworks back then.

Damn I used to work at Phantom years ago and these were $100! Used to do buy 2 get one free. I'd set people up with one of these, grand finale kit and uncle sam assortment. All 3 for $200 was perfect. The 3 assortments give you a little bit of everything. Crazy this is 3x the price now!

phantom had buy 1 get 2 free all weekend (which is near, but not exactly retail) and 50% off assortments. if you didnt get at least that coupon from their site, then damn you got ripped

If you can get a good deal in single shots, imo theyre better than NOABS because of the variety of effects

You can get 2 or 3 canister kits for that price which would give you a better show. No way I'd pay $300 for that assortment.

This year I got this assortment and the Utter Amazement for about $190, just under $200. I think that is a deal.

I like phantom they have good product, but damn are they pricey. Especially out here on the east coast. A 24 shell kit for you in ND $189-$199.99 out here $279-$399.99

Pricing on fireworks is crazy in the US and I'm saying this as a german. In germany you would pay maybe 80 dollars for an assortment like this.

I prefer buying the items individually almost all the time at phantom or TNT. The Emerald City is a nice little 200g cake but I paid 10 bucks for it after 50% off. I'd rather have 8 or 9 real little cakes for under $100 than 3 cakes, 4 fountains and 3 candle cakes @ $150. Could use that other $60 or so on a small 500 gram cake and have a better time

A 24pk.of 4" canisters hit harder, cheaper and wayyy more inside. Holy shit most of those were preloaded 1.75" shells at like $30 each....that's insane!!!!!

The last two times I went to Phantom in Indiana, I walked out. Their prices are ridiculous. I don’t know how they stay in business, because everyone I talk to about fireworks, says the same thing.
