Nice job in demonstrating all the available kits in this model. So far, most of the KZfaq videos concentrate on the FGDP-50; not everyone (especially beginners - me!) need all the functionality of the more expensive model - thank you!

I'm glad that you kept the switching between sounds in the demo. Now I have a better understanding of the voice guidance feature that has drawn me to think about getting this instrument. Now I'm confident that even though I am blind, I should have no issues figuring this one out.

hi there, did you get this device? is it really fully accessible for the blind? can you make any podcast using voice guide? any help is appreciated

@@neil4256 All of the interface will speak using voice guidance, since this instrument has no display. It is possible to configure everything just by listening to the speach as you navigate.

maybe you are right, but I'm just curious whether it is fully accessible or partially, because Yamaha had created such kind of voice guide in the keyboard, and it was not fully accessible. unfortunately I forgot its model number.

@@neil4256As I said in my last reply, the fgdp 30 has no screen of any kind. Everything having to do with settings is spoken using voice samples and can be accessibly handled

Thanks for this demo, I just purchased that modal online and have no notification of when it arrives or knowledge about it. Yours is a really top demo. Gives me a good all around idea of what I purchased. Nobody has the other modal in stock that I can find, they all sold out.

Thank you so much for the review. It seems like the 30 is enough for me. The sounds are great and I have no idea about those extra stuff on the 50. But the 50 looks so much cooler haha. :D

My dad just bought me one of these. I did do some other research into other videos showing sounds on this, and see that some things in this wern't demonstrative of the actuall factory presets. The maple kit sounds like it was customized with a different snare drum and the oak was customized with that closed high hat replacement.

Are you able to control/play the sounds of a plugin in the computer too? Or are you stuck to use only the inside presets???

sorry it doesen't have real MIDI I/O, presets are good and it would to be nice to use it as a sound module with older stuffs.

Yes, indeed. It has midi over usb but it is not supported by old controllers

@@coffebeats First thanks for the reply and your review is by far the most comprehensive. 🤘 I have seen the fgdp-50 being used with the amen break kit and specifically need to know if this kit is a preset or if it can be loaded/installed on the fgdp-30 too. I really *need* the amen kit!!!! 😂 If you can answer that pls I'd greatly appreciate it my man.
