This actually is a great alternative to the store bought flower balls you have to fluff out as l usually end up ripping them since the tissue they use are so soft.

This video was awesome!!! I literally paused the video, gathered my coffee filters, an old vitamin container, and my glue gun, made a flower ball in no time. I'm sure your daughter's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. You're a very effective teacher, thank you! :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tutorial! The two filters together and the extra paint on tips for depth makes all the difference! A ho hum craft is now elegant decor! Also, if ya'll can get your filters at Sams or BJ or Costco club type stores........, these flowers and poms are the best crafty decor bargain around! We made pens and back of chair hangers for 75 guests for $10!!! And if that were not enough, they were very resilient.......so anyone could help install or distribute....... men and children alike! Often "made things are too delicate to be entrusted to non-makers, transported or shipped easily, but these you can toss in a box and fluff on location and they are fabulous! I will be making these again and again! Thanks again!

I made these for our 50th anniversary party. We used them as centerpieces, placing them on top of tall vases which had waterbeads and submersible tea lights inside.

love this! i started making the flower balls for my wedding, cant wait to see how they turn out. One thing i found useful for drying the filters, is in the dryer on low, you do get some wrinkles but cant be flattened.

These are beautiful!! I am in the process of making my friends wedding flowers and when I found your tutorial I was so impressed. Sooooo pretty! I wish I would have seen this before Valentines day! HOWEVER, I did get a bunch of heart shaped wire hearts for wreaths after V day for next yr. I'm going to make one ASAP while it's fresh in my mind and prepare for V day. I sell wreaths, these will definitely be a hit! You are THE BOMB! I hope you make a peony tutorial! I hope the wedding went well!! I am currently elbow deep in flower pomanders myself. I did want to let you know that there are two places that I have been getting my paper lanterns from that seem to be the cheapest online. The first is Oriental Trading Company, and the second is Party City. If you ever need a large quantity of the paper lanterns again, you should check them out! Thank you for posting this tutorial!
