Because of the tranquility of these gardening videos, I decided to plant a garden this season. I planted 4 varieties of tomatoes, Bell peppers, onions, garlic, blueberries, Cantaloupes, Rosemary and basil. They're doing well : ) Thank you for the inspiration, Arcus. I like and appreciate your incredible gaming speed but I doubly appreciate these slowed down, more simple videos. I'm going to go water my plants now because it's 1 a.m. and it was 94 degrees today : / Thank you for showing me the peace and sense of achievement that comes from caring for a garden.

for what its worth, grass likes to be cut early and often. mowing infrequently can shock the plant by cutting a lot of length at once. 1/3 of its height at a time is ideal to keep it happy and green. Also, mowing at the max height setting lets the grass blot out sunlight to rogue weeds. Rock on Arcus! Love your content.

Arcus, At the 8:00 minute mark when you show that pale of wildflower mix you're growing the tallest plant in the lower left area of the pot is a type of primrose. It will probably get light pink flowers on it.

It makes me happy to hear that you're pursuing that goal. You're not miles behind though. You're simply where you are currently. Pursue what makes you feel like you're achieving a sense of peaceful meaning and forward momentum. If what you're doing makes the hours feel like seconds then you know you're in the zone. I can't possibly tell you what that means for you, but that is the sense you should pursue. God speed to you and yours. Seek your meaning.

Technically that's the correct way to mow. You don't want to scalp the grass. It grows slower when you leave it longer too.

Be careful with those fingerless work gloves in the compost pile. I always wear gloves when digging in ground debris piles. Ground Wasps have a major sting! :D Speaking from experience (once had 7 stings at the same time, 6 on one hand and 1 on my ear)

Be careful about watering the leaves of the plants. The sun can burn them. You mostly want to just get the soil wet
