No matter how good the build and material quality of the C60 the ridiculously high purchase price is a problem. It's around £500 in the UK! How is it even possible to justify this over the top price for a simple hand grinder? Somehow it seems the company is taking advantage of coffee "nerdism" snobbery to rip people off. I'd love to see a breakdown of the manufacturing costs vs profit margin. Comandante really need to reduce the price, sell more to a larger market while still maintaining a decent profit although smaller per item.

Josh , the audience will always be divided on this. I go for long format as I have the attention span to cope with it, especially for an investment like this. Excellent videos, thank you! I love the C60 however I just put that big knob on my C40 recently… if I hadn’t I’d grab the C60 as I only hand grind. I also have the Apex which is a masterpiece. Like crisp content.

Now I'll be wondering if there will be part 3 comparing Comandante with other brands, like Kinu, Niche, 1zpresso... 😅 Also, I didn't mind having breakfast with 30-minute videos, but I understand the idea behind separating them into several parts. More content, views, likes... Just wink at some point, two times for two parts, or three for three, etc. 🤣 Or maybe just specify this in the video description. Just a thought..

I'm genuinely frustrated by the C60. it's a nice moderate upgrade over the C40 in flavor, but a HUUUUUUGE jump in price, as well as so many features that they should have taken inspiration from from other mfgers innovrations and didn't. they still use the floating burr that's not on a fixed axel like the 1zpresso lineup, their burrs on the C60 are barely changed (which isn't horrible), they still struggle to come close to great espresso, and my god, that PRICE. I don't mean to suck 1zpresso's wang here, but they're producing grinders that can make better espresso (J-Ultra/JE-Plus), better all around filter grinders (ZP6, K-max/K-Ultra) and 1zpresso's quality of life upgrades (external dial adjustement, fixed burr on the axel, magnetic catch cups, etc) that drastically outpace the C40/C60. Commandante had a real chance to incorporate a lot of the modernizations to the hand grinding world that other companies are employing, but they simply dropped the ball and made a slightly tweaked burr set for their old chassis and just made it slightly bigger while charging 50% more. I WANT to love the C60, but they really made it hard to justify why I should spend that price while others are doing better for cheaper (although I love the stainless steel construction and cheap catch cups of the C40... they do make them meticulously well)

I personally think 2 shorter form videos would be preferable. Ideally dropped close together (either at the same time or maybe a day apart).
