@Joseph Osborne I think CABT does pre-2017 conversions for a base price of $43k. Seating, ac add-ons and any other fathomable details are not included in the base price. Post-2017 trucks and suvs start at $87k. Realistically it would be the cost of the vehicle plus $70-$100 grand for a six door conversion.

Some years ago I was going down I-65 south towards Mobile. I saw a truck gaining on me in my mirror. It was one of those. When it passed me I thought "that's the biggest damn pickup I've ever seen."

Levashanks should be labeled as a commercial, not a video. 335 to 800 hp but never mention what engine? What transmission? Axels rated for the torque area of 335 horses will not hold to 800hp very long. Dubai? Well, forget it, just send it back after 2k miles for a rebuild.

Badger Cat in a Honda Talon I can guarantee that the factory axels and drive line will hold up to the 800 hp . The way they tune and set up diesel mtrs now it probably has just a little more torque then it did originally.

16,820 curb weight. High optioned 650’s with super duty crew are HEAVY to start. Add the mods and it’s gonna be fat so yes, it needed that 800hp 👍🏻 nice having the steel cab compared to the new beer cans

@@dudley7540 I bought a battery there that was the correct cca and fit. I noticed a slower cranking and difficult start for my S2000. The winter made it useless. Bought an oem honda battery and all was well again. I have friends that have had good luck with Walmart batteries

Agree. Get the dash from a 2013-2016 Lariat. Get the much nicer instrument cluster as well...it all bolts right up. You can even retrofit the MyFord Touch that would have come in those years to Sync 3 which is current and much better. However...what can I say...this truck is a stunner.

I've always loved these trucks they are amazing ! I drive an M1 Abrams for a Living in the Army but I would love to have one of these but on my Salary I can never afford that Beast! Same as the one I drive i would never be able to afford it as well not that the Army let me have it ! But I love to drive yours !!

I saw this truck on a flatbed trailer about 2 weeks ago. It was parked in a parking lot in Alexandria Louisiana. I think the driver had stopped for a lunch break. Build truck. I took a few pictures of it...wow. Huge Big Boy Toy!

@Drew when you buy trucks like that you don’t buy them for the fuel mileage. I already drive an F350 Dooley but my truck doesn’t get that bad a few mileage. I just wouldn’t have any use for a truck like that but that is a bad ass truck

I work at the plant that truck is built in, and I was on the launch team. You did a fantastic job on the custom interior. I am curious, the engine it came with was a diesel (only diesels had air brakes) and the engine made 725 lb. ft. of torque. Granted, the transmission and all gearing (including axle) was made for hauling or pulling, but with a different trans and axle gears, I don't understand why you couldn't have saved the money and used the original engine? Since it would not be pulling or hauling what it was originally built for, it would move pretty nicely "empty."

The front end (not counting the custom bumper) was the redesign for the 2016 model year when production moved from Mexico to Ohio.

@@joefell7845 - F-150 to F-550 were never made in Mexico. The F-650/750 was being built in Mexico at a joint venture called "Blue Diamond, which was a joint venture between Navistar and Ford.

@@joefell7845 - I am sorry but have to correct you again. The Transit is built in the Kansas City Assembly Plant. It's the first place it's been built in North America. The smaller Transit Connect will be built in Mexico, but it's not being built there yet. I work at Ford. I was on the launch team for the F-650/750 in our plant (Ohio Assembly Plant), and I maintain and repair the tooling on the line for the 650/750, as well as the other line that builds the E-Series cut-a-way and the F-350/450/550 chassis cabs.
