Tasting coffee wine I started making 12 months prior.
Note: I am not a professional winemaker. I hold no responsibility if the results of your winemaking causes injury or ill health. This is as natural (where possible) winemaking channel. The wines made on this channel do not use sulfites. You may use them and\or yeast nutrients and or energizers if that is how you prefer to make your wine/mead. This channel uses pasteurization.

I had the same reaction to the coffee wine (mead?) that I had made. It was definitely in the "okay" category, but not something I would rush out to make again. One of my guests liked it and I gave her the rest of the bottle. I had used cold brew coffee (I didn't see a link to the original video to know if you used cold brew or not). Overall, I consider it a successful experiment -- I learned something.

I used a hot brew method: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htB9i8yCqZO-j2w.html Once I learned that you could make wine from practically anything, why not experiment around and show people what the end results could be.

Thanks for the recipe.👍 I'm going to adjust the lemon down a bit and back sweeten with chocolate syrup 😁 Maybe try grinding the coffee beans for more coffee flavor 😋 👍😁❤️

It's tough sometimes the wait a year for only one gallon, but sometimes you're glad that it's only one gallon and not 5, 10, etc...

I'm wondering if you would get more coffee flavor if you slightly cracked the coffee beans first? My husband had the same reaction to coffee that he roasted and ground himself. I suggested cracking the beans a bit more and he tried it again and it was perfect. But I love anything coffee flavor so I'm definitely going to try this 😊

Lol!! Your lips are saying; it's okay, but your facial expression says more like; it doesn't suck! 😂 Same thing with my coffee mead. You're right tho, if I ever try this again I'll probably use some good instant coffee and a fair amount of it too!
