Join me today as I share with you how to start your Hunter sprinkler system manual operation! After I fiddled with the Hunter sprinkler system for about 15 minutes, I decided to make a video on the Hunter sprinkler system after I figured out how to turn on manual operation. This is the Hunter Pro C panel and we will be going through the process of manual start, stop & reset to run. I hope you found this video helpful!

This was such a pain to figure out, but my kids had so much fun running around while I tested all the different zones. I know I am not alone trying to figure this out since a few of my neighbors stopped by while I was trying to get my zones to work so hopefully it helps some of you all too.

My husband is out of town. And I tried to figure it out on my own before running here to KZfaq. The first video was 15 minutes long and I only watched maybe 25 seconds before he had me immediately confused with his terms. So thanks for this. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Girl, I would have no idea how to work this thing, haha!! Good to know that the blinking icon means the sprinkler system is on!! Aww, your kids are having so much fun running around in the sprinklers!! Ooo, your house came with so many!! I def wish mine had some like that in the yard. Must be so helpful! I can't believe it's already so hot where you live! Just starting to get warm where I live now, haha :)

Thank you girl!! One single momma to another, I’ve been fussing with my Hunter sprinkler box too!! I just planted some new grass in a few spots, and I want to water just those zones! I’m lucky bc my dad set mine, and made me a cheat sheet for the zones, and where they each water! So, I only need to figure out how to run one zone at a time for now! This was helpful!

Hey Kat, is it better to run the sprinkler at night or morning?

And if you want to run all the zones, just leave the dial on "Run" and press and hold the "Right" arrow. As soon as a zone #1 pops up on the screen you can let go. In a second or two the system will fire up running all the zones.

Thanks so much. I didn't have a manual and spent an hour trying to figure out how to manually run each station zone. Why that little note on the box says "Manual Start. Press and Hold". That certainly didn't help!

Can you schedule it to manually run multiple zones at the same time? Or would I have to wait until the first zone finishes and run back out to start the next zone?

Mine doesn't allow multiple zones at a time due to water pressure. If you push the right arrow and hold it down for a bit, it will start a full manual run cycle (all zones one at a time).

On my Hunter, if I press and hold the right arrow, it will run all zones.

do you know why the date on these pads go from lets say june 9th all the way to the 26th and skips everything in between ? for the life of me can't set the date to its current day. Other than that it works fine

not sure.. but isn't there a water valve for the sprinkler system? If so then I can't find it. Also how do you find out how many zones you have? is it by the amount of sprinkler heads you have?

My sprinkler system shit off valve is up front by my main water shit off valve. Zones aren’t determined by number of sprinkler heads but rather sections of sprinkler. You can see how many zones by this manual process.
