Hi spencer, I have commented before on videos where you go and talk with people you made videos on and I have shared the same thinking. I understand how hard it is to change this behaviour. I do wanna say that also the viewer has to hold responsibility for their decisions, when I watched those videos I went in with an open mind but I saw a pattern of you not pushing back on something weird or illegal you have found out and covered on your videos before meeting them. So that's why I still didn't trust them even tho your video about them might be more positive, viewers should use their critical thinking more. I also didn't blame you at all about one video with a scammer and that's because that guy has been threating you before you made the irl video with him and he does have a lot of weapons and seems to me to be in a gang or the street lifestyle, I wouldn't wanna risk my life just for a video too. With all this said I'm still a big fan of yours and you have a lot of skills and mindsets that I think people do need. I personally look up to you, I strive for the authenticity, work ethic, transparency and mindset you have. People unsubbing for this to me is very weird but it's their choice. I loved this video, you have come a long way from when I started watching you and I'm very happy for what you achieved and where you're going in life. I used to be a newspaper reporter in the late 90s and being a good reporter is about being 100% comfortable with confrontation. I have seen other Spencer videos where he does the in-person interviews and he seems very "soft." What is surprising to me is how Spencer doesn't realize how uncomfortable he is in these situations, and how unprepared he comes across in some of them. I was always very aware of how an interview went and how prepared I was. Spencer is a very smart man, so I'm a bit shocked that he doesn't (or didn't) see that too... if there is any doubt that Spencer isn't being honest, this would be the reason why. At the end of the day, I think Spenser has done a fabulous job with his channel and a few missteps are going to happen. Learn, improve, and move on.

After leaving a comment on your previous video that gained a reasonable amount of traction, i just wanted to say this came across as a very genuine response to the situation. Mistakes happen and we all mess up, glad you addressed the issues and took accountability in a way many creators do not.

That was a really decent apology, so well done. I also wouldn’t have done well in person trying to ask the hard questions. I still don’t quite understand why you would have handed the footage over to the other guy though, especially as you said the video didn’t turn out as well as you liked and you also felt uneasy about his real estate lies. Overall, glad you handled this maturely, I do like a lot of your content

most refreshing for me is how genuine Spencer comes off. His genuineness, humility, and honest demeanor comes through completely. In person confrontations are difficult for him because he's honest and not hiding anything, so when encountered with someone displaying polar opposite traits, I can see where most of us would be incredibly uncomfortable confronting. Great video Spencer, we're all human and your humility, especially in this space/platform is incredibly rare to see.
