Living in Minnesota, Loons are always here in Minnesota. They arrive and you can set your clocks by them. They rest in one lake and switch to their playground lake for the rest of the day. If you’re close to their nest , the male chases your boat and dives around to distract us from the nest area. Then they carry the babies on their back.

I live in S. Florida on a sailboat. Used to love watching ospreys nesting, hunting, etc. Last night a Limpkin decided to sit on top of our solar panels and scream at the top of its lungs for an hour til I threw an oven mitt at the bird. This was about 3 or 4 o'clock. I talk to them often. That bird looked at me like I was crazy. 😁

I worked in a movie theatre 50 years ago. No assigned seating or reclining seats. During heat waves we often had homeless people buy a ticket and stay all day. Our boss was great and never kicked them out unless they were causing a problem. Some of them worked nights and the theatre was a safe, comfortable, dark place to sleep during the day when the weather was extreme.

That was a fun LIVE! I appreciate Brooke and Jason's repartee. Such respect and love plus of course humor. Another plus for melts - no smoke. Although it's a small flame candles usually lead to the need to repaint ceilings. Cathedral ceilings can be particularly problematic plus scaffolding isn't cheap. Most college dorms do not allow open flames. I cannot imagine what the next Cog Hill merch will be but it will be interesting.

Jason may have to cut off the fence and then go up aways from the switch to do some work. He needs to carry that reminder bracelet with him, so he doesn't walk away and forget to re-energize the fence. The bracelet idea works both ways, just like the ones used on each water spigot.

I saw the Broadway show, Beauty And The Beast, in Houston, Tx., before it hit Broadway. They do this in preparation to work out any kinks so when it gets to NY it is perfection. It is the same actors and set. The show usually go to the big cities across the nation which lets people enjoy a Broadway production and experience getting "dressed up" for the performance. Hope this helps!.

Hey Jason n Brooke,, you might want to look into getting a 2000 gallon water tank and pumping it full of well water to use on house garden and orchard by gravity. Most Aussie farms have rain water tanks off of any/all available roofs of houses, sheds and out buildings. We have 5x 220,000 litre tanks for our summers which we use when in drought conditions. We've only just got some decent opening rains for our start to winter. Hadn't had any before that since October last year. Thank goodness it's starting to green up pastures.

I live in Holland, MI. We have a small civic theater here that I've gone to some, but in Grand Rapids (about half hour away) a traveling Broadway troup comes around every couple of months with shows the Broadway shows. It looks like a troup goes to Birmingham, so you might check that out. Tickets can be expensive, but the shows are great, and so are the sets. There is also a great civic theater in Grand Rapids. Most of the performers come from the surrounding area. It's one of the largest civic theaters in the country. I'm 70, but I've even enjoyed the shows more for the younger people. Check into the Broadway in Birmingham & see if you have a civic theater in your area. That's also a good thing to check on areas you travel to. I know it's hard for you guys to get away from the farm, but it's good to do, especially while MaryCarl gets too old to where she wants to travel with friends. My granddaughter is a nurse & loves to travel!
