10. Executive Functions: Higher-order cognitive processes that help in planning, organizing, initiating tasks, and regulating behavior.
These cognitive components work together in intricate ways to shape how individuals perceive the world, understand information, make decisions, and respond to various situations. Cognition plays a fundamental role in shaping human behavior and is essential for problem-solving, learning, and adapting to new challenges throughout life.
