Is there any reason why you don’t use the SU-85 tracking ability, especially in a situation like 38:30? It boosts your sight range and shows enemy units on the mini map without affecting your movement speed like focus sight does. IMO it’s one of the most underused/underrated abilities in the game and I frequently find it very useful, but rarely see it used or even mentioned.

You still have to chase the tank, even if you know where it is, he gives up the chase almost immediately, so it'd be better to get some insight on why he didn't want to chase. I probably would've at least went searching with the T34 but he's probably factoring in the time it has to repair and the fact that there's another (soon fully repaired) P4 to follow up on that. Combined with the blitzkrieg ability it's pretty unlikely that P4 can be caught and killed in a way that is worth it because it hasn't received an engine crit. It's also close to the base defenses at that point so infantry isn't likely to follow up. I think he made the correct call given all of that but I still woulda chased like an idiot, just look at that juicy 1 HP!

GG WP as usual - very entertaining video. You mentioned what I was thinking about through this video... Why didn't he build any Pak guns? Couldn't fit it into his build with all those Ost and P4s?

Hey tightrope, are there any specific units or features from CoH2 that you want to see a return of? Personally, I was hoping all factions would have vehicle crew mechanics and that abandonment would become a common gameplay mechanic after they added the recovery vehicles.

18:28 What was the point of that airstrike? His tank was fully mobile and was not on the strike line at all.

My guess is for the P4 to get LOS on the T34 is through the gap in the hedge, calling in the strafe through that prevents the P4 from moving in. That or trying to bait the P4 through the gap

The only way I see to make certain balance stats viable is to actually have a unit limit. Like only 1 King Tiger, maybe only 4 Ostruppen max. Otherwise you risk making a certain unit useless by excessive nerfs, or you have to remove certain units entirely from the game.

Penals vs Ostruppens is a pain in the ass for Soviets. Sheer spam with buildable green cover helps negate a lot of the strength Penals have over Ostruppen. However getting PPSH helps with engagements as you should be fighting as close as possible to negate the cover bonus. Well Played tight rope

It is very good for its role in my opinion. T-70 kills infantry quite well, it is very fast so it can stay away from danger like panzerfausts with good micro, decimates werhmacht light vehicles like 222 scout car and it even can do some damage against bigger targets too. Yeah, it will not win against Panzer IV 1v1, but we shouldn't expect it either for the cost.
