I like the advanced cancer regiment because then you don't have to get engineers out early game, you can just build a FHQ and upgrade to the repair ability.

Love the Videos @HelpingHans! Could you perhaps make a video on tank warfare and movement? Especially about the Jagdtiger. It seems like many players do not know how to use it.

in fact, dying squadmembers dont give more exp to the enemy troops (in comparison to being shot and surviving), this experience is only based on damage dealt and what the damaged squad is worth as experience (which is actually just the same value they need to vet up). on the other hand, besides building (or losing) buildings and some overtime-flow the command points are heavily based on getting models killed (interestingly if you lose a full squad you get more cp-experience than your enemy, although he achieved way more :D) So there is ofc a lot of value in healing wounded models, but its not literally tied to experience ;)

for OKW. kubelwagen - 3cap but volks are 7cap. Kubbel can move and capture fast other hand valks can build sandbags. I have no idea which one is better first.

for the ostheer: i have huge success with non-doctrinal StuG spam. It's in teamgame (3v3/4v4 also tried it in 2v2) so may not be a thing for all. I mostly skip buidling t2 building (panzergrenadier building) but sometimes i build it after i got 2 or 3 stug's. I almost never tech for t4 nor build it. Something you must know is, that you won't have that much anit-infantry or anti-blob so you may want your teammates to do it. I play this tactic often with a premade who loves to play okw and is rushing pz 2 luchs so we have a good combo at/ai. Another thing you have to be aware, is that you have to position the StuG really good, and that you have to play extremly carefull with it.

Anything wrong with going centar vs a cromwell with UKF im struggling with axis mortars so i lean on the AI of the centar.

All this soviets build are finished with the new patch and the penals and guards nerf...

Hey Hans. I feel the standard ostheer BO (mg>gren>gren>gren) its far too defensive in the current game. Starting with the mg mean you give up the map at the start. I'm currently using the gren>mg or gren>gren>mg. Its hard to balance the build order between mobility and denying territory to the oponent. Surely it depends on the faction. I feel grens cant handle anything on their own

Heh I still struggle against sim city commanders. It's definitely lame - at one point I used to just quit at the start when I saw it in their loadout cause I didn't wanna waste my time knowing either win or lose it'll just be a boring game. What really sucks is I can see it coming right from the start when they lock down the middle with MGs and avoid being too aggressive, yet I still struggle against it. I usually go for a quick P2 or 222, but a quick bofors can kill those and then I have to wait until the LEFH cause mortar pit owns the wehr mortar or the LeIG.. Currently with both OST and OKW I have a commander with an LEFH because that's the only way I've found effective for me now that the anti battery ability isn't constant. Before that I never beat a sim city player lol. Do you have any other ideas on how to deal with it? I'm guessing stopping it early is the best scenario, but I can't get past the MGs and they just keep their IS behind cover so even the sturmpios often lose due to the high IS rate of fire.

What about going for 2 MG42 and 2 Pioneers and then go for Panzergrens very fast, after that head for 2 or maybe 3 Stugs so you have a good defense against vehicles and infantry? I like that strategie very much because most time especially soviet players get problems against it - just my point of view

Fuck me this is 2 years old Hans. I just started playing. Is this still relevant? I started playing the game because I love WW2 history and the German army. Am I wasting my time by playing OKW? Should I just roll Wehrmacht? Nobody is really helping me and every game I get in I get rolled. Like mid game.

Its cool that hes making videos to help others, but does anyone else feel like he is both mumbling and talking fast. Kinda hard to understand what he is saying over one listen.
