As you may have already noticed, there was a patch today changing some of the costs of the armor deployments. February 24 patch notes 🔹 Afrikakorps Armored Reserves Deployment Upgrade cost from 200 Manpower and 50 Fuel to 200 Manpower and 150 Fuel. 🔹 Afrikakorps call-in Costs increased for Assault Groups to 600 Manpower, and 80 Fuel. 🔹 Afrikakorps Tiger cost from 900 Manpower to 800 Manpower and 180 Fuel. These changes are applied to the tech tree image in the discord!

My plans for now in the game are not to bother with the Italian campaign (yet) but instead focus on learning how to use the DAK and with that in mind I'll start by playing their campaign in Afrika. However (even though i played them in the Beta) I never fully understood them in depth and there is a chance i might miss something during the campaign. So in short I really want to say thanks for your overview video. Its like petrol in the desert.

The strat I've been using is 3 panzergrenadiers, the armored car, and an ambulance. Have the PGs follow your armored car and just blitz through enemy territories while you use the pioneers to cap point.

It looks rather easy to get but, i can see why the last tier is 130 fuel plux 50 fuel, in a 1v1 this is considered insanely hard to get to, i see matche ending way before that.

Good info video. Does anyone know of a source for info regarding individual units? Ie close/long range etc. I know the weapon type is an indication, but it doesn't always tell the whole story.

are they really going forward with using the old icons from coh2? I mean technically I guess it's handy if the icon represents the same or a very similar function, but still lazy. however I think some of these reused icons have at least a bit different meanings in coh3, which makes it confusing.

I am assuming they will trade them out for new icons further down the line, I do find them a bit undescriptive and very often they have a new or opposite function eg look at coh2 blitzkrieg and coh3 focus gunnery: same icon opposite ability

Whats is your POV is DAK balanced or do you find that its rather easy to tech to the cheap call-ins? Personally found that the late call-ins were to cheap for the units you’ll get. Tiger was easily obtained and way to strong (it has that skill which obliterated infantry).

Definitely too strong in teamgames, in 1s it doesnt seem too oppressive but time will tell

i am bit sad that only way to get anti-tank infantry is the call-in . this can get ugly if you go vs early vehicles . if your called in AT-riflemen get wiped or have to retreat you gotta pull out .completely :(

DAK has no snare units at all. Except that one call in unit.

I tend to rush the flak gun for early anti infantry supremacy. My British playing friend is getting quite annoyed

Yeah I just get the truck & stick it in base so I don't risk losing it. Stick it near the HQ & just heal up each time you return to base.

Which do you prefer in 1v1s though? DAK or Wehrmacht? Personally, I prefer Wehrmacht because of how insanely strong the panzergrenadiers are against infantry and heavy weapons unlike DAK which their mainline infantry can only be upgraded with a 100 ammunition MG34 which is incredibly expensive. And I think that vehicles arent used much in 1v1s because of how expensive they are though i'm still trying out other builds and strats for DAK

Well it seems that is based on reality, cause Wermacht from 1944-45 had better tanks, anti tank guns, heavy machine guns, assault rifles etc. than already obsolete DAK equipment from 1941-42 :) Beetwen 1941 and 1944 there was huge technological leap.

@@AhmedAli-of4jy Panzergrenadiers use Kar98. I too am looking for specific info on units. Are they available? Every unit review source I've found is just a copy paste of the in game info and very generic.

Core difference is DAK Panzergrenadiers can repair. Compared to the Whermachts they play more like Riflemen, however they get quite strong with the Tier 2 Infantry upgrade & MG34 upgrades. DAK's Panzergrenadiers get Volley Fire for Vet 1 which is a free suppression ability but the range on it is medium which can make it tricky to use unless opposing infantry are rushing your position. DAK's PGrens are more of a all purpose infantry where as the Whermachts are more of a assault type. Hope this helps.
