This is from 2001, and is possibly the first show ever played by them as "Coheed and Cambria" (rather than the previous name, Shabutie"
Note: I did not take shoot this video, nor do i claim it to be mine.

Those people in the crowd have no idea what just happened.

I saw them about a year before this when they were still Shabutie. I can confirm that seeing them around this time was like, what just happened, this is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Had never seen or heard anything like them at the time. There was about 20 people in the crowd, and most of my usual buds didn't make that the show, so I had to describe to them what I saw and words just don't really do it.

Could you imagine? Being that close to them now while they are playing? I was at their show in Vegas and I talked to them all (Except Claudio, who flew in from a comic con before the concert) and it was like nothing--they were normal people, but the moment they got onto that stage, put their instruments on, I thought I was standing before the Gods of rock. It's so aspiring to see a band at their beginnings when they didn't have a good sound team and made mistakes and stuff and still kept going and then continued to improve and get so popular after 20 years. I wish I could have started a band sooner knowing we'd just have to keep at it to get like C&C.

@@jakeydeefpv they've completely filled up every venue I've ever seen them play at and they move exponentially more merch than bands twice as popular as them. They're all certainly multimillionaires. They're about as big as you can get before you're only playing stadiums and headlining festivals.

Roller, Claudio hits notes that most men physically can't no matter how hard they try, and not only that but he has to do it almost every night for however long of a tour they may go on. Try singing at the same pitch that he does for one song and your throat is soar as hell, now imagine doing that as often as he does. He has to hold back or he'll blow them. Robert Plant did the same thing.

Videos like this are the reason people should make sure they support their local bands. Don't be ashamed to hit up a gig at a local community center, church, high school, garage, whatever, even with like a dozen in attendance. You never know who you'll have a chance to see before they blow up and change lives, and more importantly it'll show you a whole new side to the music and the comradery that comes with it. Coheed sounded like ass here but so did my friends' band at first and they're growing
