Kerala on the first hand is famous for coconuts and the fiber that is obtained from coconuts is processed to convert them to natural and eco-friendly, which they are already to products such as doormats, mattresses, brushes and more. It is a land that is called God’s own country for the lushness and the beauty of the place itself, it also literally means the land of coconut trees. Shri. Thangachan, Senior Craftsman
from Kerala produces these bird nests.

It's beautiful...but not safe from other big birds(predators)...for that a small piece of pvc pipe should be attached at entrance so that big birds won't be able to reach to chicks...

Avoid using synthetic rubber coating it doesn't let the air flow inside through pores making it hot inside .keeping required temparature and cooling is also required nest should breath

correct.its not coconut fiber.I will try this with original coconut fiber it may be not so neat but it will be natural

A beautiful attempt for saving 🐦🐥🐤 birds, they need shelter,a very very good idea using of coconut shel and it's coir,we can also use other materials for making nest etc
