With due respect sir, I think all cadets must take some time to understand the situation. I've observed the very first moment you explain the task they start using equipments. Ladies and gentlemen take a minute to understand situation and proper use of materials.

What are support and stopper? what is the difference between the 2?

Support is from below the plank and stopper stops the plank from above (both forces cancel each other). Similar to a cantilever beam.
