Zekka later apologized because he didn't realise at the moment that the physical contact looked that bad. He wanted to play a bit because it was a battle and he didn't even notice he grabbed Colap's face, but later he was told that it looked bad from outside so he apologized to Colaps

Hopefully once you get through 2021 GBB, you can check out the SBX 2021 Kickback videos too. It's like BBU, but more true to the beatbox live battles. Also, is David editing these videos? That esh censor is very noticeable.

If you want to see Zekka plank while beatboxing, it’s in an I Asked Epic Beatboxers video from Colaps. I don’t remember which, but Zekka isn’t in all of them so it can’t be too hard to find Edit: not plank, hold himself horizontal. Anyways

Grabbing people's face and such should just be a disqualification, or a HEAVY score penalty at the least. Just because it's such a cheap transparent move. Same as for rap battles.

I don't agree, touching the face, at least in Spain, is not such a serious gesture. Also, with nerves it is normal to do that kind of things, apart from that, colaps and Zekka are friends and if it is not done with bad intentions there should be no problem...

Spain’s culture doesn’t apply to a world wide event. I understand what you mean. But if we’re talking Spain’s culture into consideration, we should also take France’s and the rest of the world in to consideration. Regardless of personal opinion, there should be a rule for face touching

I'm not justifying what he did nor do I think it's appropriate, I'm just giving some context. I don't think it's something that serious either, but that depends on each person. The important thing is that in the end they solved it between themselves. Apart from that, I don't like when it takes away all the attention from the battle.

I think people need to stop reacting so much to Zekka touching Colaps, maybe it’s a violation of boundaries or something but Zekka was just so in the moment and it’s the way he battles. Colaps took it well on stage as well, he’s not annoying about it like River’ is sometimes. In my opinion it adds more to the battle and it hypes up the crowd a lot I don’t think it influenced the judge’s decision at all which is good. Also according to some people Zekka apologized to Colaps after the battle but Colaps was fine with it. So it’s all fine in the end

The face touching stuff in Spanish is not such a disrespectful gesture in Spanish culture, so he was fine with it when he had no idea how it looked to most other people. He knows and admitted his mistake either way. It was over 2 years ago now as well so we should be past it.
