What I love about this interview is that it’s really a love letter to improvisation. Nicki’s an amazing lyrical improviser, Stephen’s an improv comedy genius, and improvisation is a huge part of what Jon does with his music. You can tell there’s so much respect between them all.

When Ariana is struggling emotionally and with depression, Nicki called her every night to talk to her. Ariana said it was hard to find people like Nicki in the industry who genuinely cared about her and not only benefit people from collaborations. Nicki has always been interpreted as the bad guy in the music industry when really, she's only defending herself from the people who'd attack her first.

it's mostly rehearsed. topics that will be discussed known and bits known. do you not read? how producers discuss topics and what will be asked with guest has been talked about for a long time. bits are discussed. no one wants a boring show. nothing about this is natural. woman wearing a ton of makeup, wig, using fake voice, going over bits, gags and topics the producers told her to think about before hand and she probably discussed which bits/stories she'd use on the show.
