I used to work at this bar, and on Wednesday nights (our slowest night) we'd have this sort of impromptu poker tournament. It wasn't anything the bar itself condoned or financed (that would have been illegal), but basically just the same group of older guys who'd come in and play for low stakes and get increasingly sauced the whole time. Always seemed like a really fun time. But as the night went on, players would leave, and take whatever they'd won with them, so the leftover players would be playing for increasingly smaller and smaller stakes. So by the end of the night, it was always the same two guys, fighting over whatever scraps were left at the table, a lot of nights they'd be playing for a dollar's worth of coinage. And of course, they'd be pretty juiced by the time it got to that point, so they'd get irritated too. Never, like, violent, of course, but there were a lot of times they'd get angry enough that they wouldn't speak to each other for a few days, or even have to sit out a few weekly games until they finally got over the ill feelings they'd develop for each other over this literally fight for pennies. Watching Trumpster Fire fight Fox reminds me exactly of that.

Insulin is for free in my country, Czechia. It is fully covered by health insurance which everone has. I am sure it is the same in many other civilised countries too.
