What the hell? She's releasing a movie, a jazz record and a hyper pop remix album all within a few months of each other, while also honoring Tony for being the great jazz legend that he is and raising awareness for Alzheimer's and the power of music. Truly, tell me any artist who does it like her. She's a real gem. Her kindness and talent are really inspirational.

She is so right about music, my Dad had Altzheimers, he lost his speech but one day a group of singers came to the nursing home to sing all the old wartime songs. My Dad stood up the front with them and sang along, word perfect. The nurses said they were in tears he was having such a good time.

When she talked about Tony and music, I started crying. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s and has always loved bolero music and Rocio Durcal. Every time I put that music, she starts humming and singing. Music is truly magic as Gaga said. Global treasures are what Tony and Gaga are.

Same my Grandmother has Alzheimer's too. It's amazing to see how people with Alzheimer's light up with music, dance, laughter, and play with their grandchildren. In my Grandmother's decline with Alzheimer's I'm meeting a more playful side of her. She's always been so prim and proper but it's starting to go. With her memory her inhibitions and self doubt are also fleeing.

✨💫 Gaga always pays tribute to Tony’s artistry in music and painting, but here, she put the spotlight on his sacrifice for our country, his decades of time dedicated to the civil rights movement and years of friendship and support for black artists that were severely mistreated. Thank you, Mr. Bennett. ❤️🤍💙 Tony has always been a showstopper including his curtain call performance. Such a bittersweet moment in music history, saying farewell to the great Tony Bennett on the big stage. ✨🌟✨ A lovely tribute, from a special Lady. A blazing star of beauty, grace and talent. She is so right. My mother was diagnosed with late-stage ALZ at 81, following the loss of her husband of 54 years. Over the past several years we sang to her a favorite lullaby 'hush little baby' over and over again and she would always smile and bob her head and ask us to sing it again. When she passed we were playing Al Green's 'Still in Love with You' and she was smiling.

It's been fascinating to watch her go from her early fame as a rock/pop star with all kinds of quirky, "outrageous" stuff (like the meat dress) to a mature, world class vocalist who, while still true to her roots, now owns the Great American Songbook. If you look up “STYLE” in the dictionary her face is right there. Plus she is so stinking cute. I don’t do her kinda music but good lord that can sing like a Angel. And her Tony Bennett story is just classy!! Every now and then I go down a rabbit hole of not my preferred music and the one time I did her Live stuff is just awesome. It’s nice when you stop and smell the roses on something that isn’t your style.
