My best friend told me this sound reminded him of me. I listened to the first few parts, was honored, and told him another song which reminded me of him. He and I didn't live nearby, and we only see each other during school events like speech competitions. But I still miss him and my other friends. I didn't have my phone or wifi for like a whole month, so I was in another state without contact with any of them. Only now have I truly listened to the lyrics. I finally looked at the lyrics. And I want to cry because I think he was telling me something all those months ago. Only, I was too stupid to realize. I miss him :( I want to talk to him but I'm on my laptop, not my phone, and I can only contact him as well as my other friends through my phone.

I listen to this song alot to pay tribute to my best friend, Corbyn Skeen Gresham. She sang this song in Chorus at Powell High School. Sadly on May 3, 2019, she passed away from brain cancer. 😥😭 I miss her terribly. I wish that only the bad people would get diseases and the good people would stay with us. I have lost too many good people in my life. I lost my great grandfather from lung cancer. 1923-1998 I lost my great grandmother to ovarian cancer. 1924-2001 I lost my aunt from breast cancer. 1957-2005 I lost my uncle to an allergic reaction. 1935-2011 I lost my friend Holland Durbrow in a truck accident. 6-20-1996 - 8-24-2016 I lost my Pawpaw Cecil Gandy on September 21, 2018 due to a combination of all the sicknesses he had. 12--10-1946 - 9-21-2018

I got home and ... let's just say my heart was broken after that night. This song is all sweet, though, that I'm reminded of the overwhelming feeling of love I had before it we crushed. I remember I used to have a huge crush on a person in the past. I used to actually follow him around our elementary school. It was many years ago, actually 6 years ago when we both left our old elementary school started middle school then left our old middle school 2 years ago. We entered into high school in two different locations, but as time flew by, I wondered why I stuck with someone and my hurt feelings. The bond is one and happily married. A complete praise & honor goes to our wonderful Heavenly Father, Jah. However, I may be 17 years old, a junior in high school, I won’t be looking for a faithful man at this time because they will come in the right time and right place/special moment. I’d choose only one. I’m not looking for marriage now because I’m not ready yet. I probably won’t be. This relates to the song: “Just take your time where ever you go.” Also, I must mention how I felt sad that my crush broke up with his then girlfriend recently (a year ago). I also felt confused like felt glad but that was bad. I felt bad for my crush because his happiness is more important than my selfish feelings for him.
